Love bringing my toddler here during the summer evening. Its safe and I can keep a pretty good eye on her in the water from the near by picnic tables which are covered. After she is finished playing there is a playground right beside the splash pad for her to run around amd dry off some before a nice stroll around the lake.

Kids love this place Im there every other weekend

Had a great time with the grand babies playing. The splash park is great. It doesnt open till 11 am. We played at the regular playground until it opened. It does get busy and seating is limited as is shade. Get there early and bring a chair.

A nice place to cool off for the kids. The playground has a bouncy soft floor. Not sure if the insulation underneath is the cause but the floor does get hot. Nice picnic areas, when the wind isnt too crazy. Overall a nice park to enjoy a little phonature

Fun splash pad, Id say more suited for older kids. Popular place probably 20 or more kids. Just not enough searing for parents.

We love going here and meeting new friends for the kiddos. Awesome park for toddlers. Just need the public to keep in mind why it was created and have consideration. Excited for the splash pad to open back up!

Love this place. Somewhere you can take your kids to get wet and then play in the playground right next to it. Kids love getting wet here.

Best splash pad in Amarillo...BUT it gets crowded at times. If you catch it on a good day, it is wonderful!

I live this place! Its fun for the kiddos, has enough shade for the adults, close enough to the playground kids can safely go back and forth and its clean!

Great place. Lots of parking. Handicap friendly. Definitely recommend this as its close to medium park - great for walking or running. Also close to Discovery Center and Botanical Gardens of Amarillo. Beautiful place!

Too little shade at the play area. The slides and swings get too hot in the sun but the kids had a great time at the splash pads

So fun and its right next to the AMBUCS park, and the Discovery Center.

Kids had a blast!!Love how it is gated area and yet the kiddos could play between the water and playground.Felt very safe

The concrete where it goes from splashpad to playground is EXTREMELY slippery. I have fallen twice while walking very carefully i might add.

I love the change to the park, but being winter the splash pad was closed lol.

My kids love coming to this park! It can get really crowded though!

Nice splash pad. Did get a bit slippery off of the textured surface, my daughter wiped out less than a foot from the edge. Didnt stop her from going back.

I love going to this place with my sisters it is a good place to play tag and to have fun for young or old people its a cool place

Busy as usual but kids enjoy it everytime Suggestion water shoes so they can go from the water to the The park with out their feet being so hot.

If you cant go swimming try a different way to beat the heat .Its fun for anyone kids or adults have picnics or barbeque great family place.

Fun place for all the kids can get crowded summer months so get their early to grab a seat while kiddos play. The playground is new and ground is soft . The ground does not get hot and there are no stickers or ants to worry about on the playground section.

Great hot weather water feature for younger kids. Not toddlers, but not teens.

Pets should not be allowed in this area there was dog poop... children were running in water and grass this is not a very healthy for our children

Fun place

Great park and fun place for the littles, however there are several slippery areas. Be sure to warn your kiddos and make them slow down. Especially in the muddy area where water from the splash pad draws dirt down between the splash pad and playground.

But I think they should put a big sign for people to pick up after themselves cuz people were just littering and throwing stuff around I think they should put big signs there and see if they dont clean up still going to get a fine cuz its so pretty there and they work so hard to see work so hard to put it together like we say your mom is not working at the park so pick up after yourself

Great new park! I love that Amarillo is stepping up its game and just adding more things to do. It can be overcrowded at times though.
