Bodegas is a solid go-to for those seeking nightlife fun in Amarillo. The bar is cheap, music good, and itll always be packed on weekends.Bodegas is a nightclub located in Downtown Amarillo at the Polk Street Entertainment District. Its a central location in the district and is rather easy to find. On weekends they open up their dance floors which double the bar in size.I always have a great time at Bodegas and see long-time friends here. The bartenders are friendly, there are always specials, and the drink selection is commendable.DJs tend to play anything from contemporary hiphop, old school (90s-2000s) hiphop, and some Latin music. They always know what to play to get the crowd moving.5/5.

I am from california. You cant compare with cali but in Amarillo its a party you wanna visit. They play old school pop.

People that give bad reviews because an establishment is too busy, or because they cant afford a moderately priced drink, are ridiculous and that is absolutely no reason to leave 1 star on a business that is packed every single weekend with people having fun and dancing and who can afford to buy a drink. LOL

Great place to go dancing during the weekend. The only place Ive found that is comparable to Chloes Discotheque and Vie (f.k.a. Suite 200) from Denver, CO.Good music, friendly staff, and sometimes they show UFC pay per views.Put your dancing shoes on and come have fun! Or you can sit down with your friends, enjoy a drink, and watch all the people dancing =] .

We were treated well. You are allowed to tape. Security was professional and helpful. Although the owner was stern about exits and interences, it made us feel safe and he was good to us, even though he was extremely busy. Answered our questions; was professional; and gave us direction. Well he was giving everyone direction...lol...hes a natural. Staff was polite very gracious. Even the people were friendly.Inside there are two bars and DJ booths. Stage for entertainment. Outside is a beautiful smoking area w lined seating and standing area great place to tape and conduct live interviews.We recommend this place to any media team.
