This is a nice quiet park with beautiful scenery and a pretty stream running through. There’s a softball field and a soccer field. Most of the softball games are Sundays with adult teams. There is a paved walking path that winds and goes back into a quiet peaceful part of the park. There is a small, but nice playground for the kids. It’s always well taken care of. Many people go there for walks along the path for exercise. And people bring their dogs on a leash to give them some exercise too. I have been going there since my kids were very little & I always loved it. Its not a big park, like some others in Altoona. But it’s peaceful and serene. Good meditation spot or to get together for an afternoon of ball.
Great park if you just want to walk. There is longer a playground for kids. My children cried when we got there after our long drive to get there. I believe their tears are what filled the nearby creek.
I ride dirtbikes right next to it so idk how y’all are saying it’s peaceful .
Its a nice big Park and basically has everything to do but swings and disc golf. Lots of space to run around basketball court Jungle Gym baseball soccer field bathroom picnic areas.
The play area is huge, theres beautiful flowers everywhere. Benches are scattered for you to sit if you want to & theres a picnic area before you go into the play area
There is a playground, walking area, stream, softball field and soccer field. Its a very nice place to picnic or have a celebration of some sort. Its on the way to the World famous Horseshoe Curve.
I love this park. So beautiful and peaceful with a stream running down both sides of it.

A nice park with a lot of flat open area with lots of access to Burgoon Run. A nice place to take a stroll, have a catch, or to have a stream side picnic.
Garbage cans full of beer bottles. Not much to do.
Its a nice secluded park
GPS is incorrect. You just follow signs for the horseshoe curve then turn in at Park entrance. Park has out house like bathrooms only.
Dirty
Dont know where its at
Not the cleanest park
