This is a decent skate park. For some reason there is massive amounts of kids with no adult supervision here. Even as little as 7 years old with no parents. I have a feeling this place will end up on a Dateline episode.

Not good for bmx

Honestly in my opinion, this skatepark was NOT designed very well at ALl. But it DOES have a OUTSTANDING flyout for scoo

It has a good fly out for scooter/bmx, it needs repair tho, like no coping, ledge is thin, no flatbars or flat ledges, needs major repair, also there is just random humps neer the ledge for no reason, and the down rails are steep, the siar sets are to close to each other, you jump down the 5 then ram into the 4 imedietly. It needs better coping that sticks out more, A flat bar would be nice to have, It is a ok, just needs allot of repairs

Teens enjoyed it, I hoped it had a smaller park next to it for my toddler (only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars), but no luck. If I was a skater, I think it would of been cool. It has lots of different bowls, ramps, stairs, and other slide things. Great view of the sunset and for parents that let the kids go by themselves its tucked away right between the pool and soon to be new jail, so its gotta be relatively safe. Open sun-up to sun-down.

Great skateboard went there for my b day i give five stars its good for scooter skateboards bikes and skates

Not bad, has a lot to practice on

I liked this park a lot, and want to go there more, but there are some naive parents who decide it is a good idea to let their children climb around in the skate area. IT IS NOT A PLAYGROUND! They should not have small kids running around. That’s how people get hurt, the skater or the child. Please watch out for your kids and don’t let them just climb around the park without something like a skateboard, bike, or scooter. It is not intended for that at all.P.s. I have seen other skateparks made with government money, and kids have broken things while there, then leave, as they don’t have to pay to fix it. So please don’t let your child break anything that could ruin/potentially danger an actual skater there. This isn’t for scooter kids or bikes, just the kids with nothing running around.

Love the space and things you can try here. Everyone is friendly and happy to help and encourage. Fun place!

Its my home park so always fun. But its a horrible skatepark!

A fun skatepark for all skill levels. Has a nice bowl as well as many interesting obstacles.

It was kinda small

Smallish skate park.I was actually here for a cyclocross event and for that the park was awesome. Some great single track.Would also be a good place to take your dog for a walk, etc.

I go for quiet me time. There is also swings and water activities. There is a ball diamond and a skateboard park.

My kids love it, I just wish there were benches, Im always sitting in the grass.

Horrible design. Not worth the gas to drive. Sorry but this has to be one of the worse cement parks in iowa

I wish there were more things to do here. Needs to be bigger but a good start.

Yo is this skate park good for bmx i just moved here to des moines iowa from half way across the united states Because where i come from theres not a good bmx skatepark at all unless you wanna drive for like 2 hours
