Scenic park with a trail that offers views of the Little Wekiva River.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area.. the restrooms are well kept, the playground is fun for a wide age group, and the trees provide great shade all day long .. absolutely wonderful

Nice little urban park. We spend most of the time at the childrens play area. Decent equipment maybe in need of a little repair but mostly good condition. The swing set squeaks very loud and is hard on the ears. Park maintenance should apply some oil

Top tier facility for girls fastpitch softball. Fantastic fields, all new fencing, and batting cages. Large bathrooms, playground, sport courts and a jogging trail. Parking is somewhat limited. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby..

It was good we got there as they were about to close. They could stay open later

Nice for a little walkabout, which is what I did. Other amenities that people might enjoy more are the playground, pavilions, sand volleyball and of course, 3 softball fields.

We love this park. We hosted a 4yo birthday party here and had a great time! We love this park especially in the summer because the trees provide a lot of shade, and there is a covered pavilion right next to the playground.

Nice playgrounds with tree cover. Nature walk through the woods with exercise instructions/stations. Great softball fields. Sand/beach volleyball courts.

Great hidden park. Love the playground, it has an area for little toddlers and a separate playground for older kids. All of the play areas are spaced out nicely. There was some covered picnic areas and grills so I guess you can grill there. Theres quite a few baseball fields, and three volleyball areas. All in all I think its a great park to check out.

Great park! Shady with good playground equipment. Bathrooms. My kids call this the shady park and are always excited to go.

I love this park!

This is not a dog park. I did a dog park search and this park came up. I took my dog there and there were very rude and said that no dogs are permitted. This park should be deleted from the dog park search on Google.

Park is clean, everything functional. Lots of parking. Accessible and CLEAN bathrooms

Beach courts are now closed until further notice. Bummer!

Mostly a recreational park, and I think they have a bike path. Plenty of parking

Very clean and well maintained. The playground itself is not that big but it is better than some others in the area.

A beautiful park! Merrill park is a great place for families! They have a big playground, a lot of baseball fields, a trail that wraps around the park through the woods, a couple nice volleyball courts, a big hill to sit and watch the game from, and even a cute Creek that runs along the trail path. Other amenities include water fountains, trash cans, and bathrooms.

Great place to take the kids.

We went to watch my GFs brother play volleyball and had a wonderful time. The park was very clean and well lit. Just watch out for other vehicles in the area if your on your bicycle or motorcycle because they dont watch for you. One of the guys on another team left just before us and his motorcycle ended up under the front of a truck that wasnt paying attention as he turned into the shopping center less then¼ mile away...

Great place to take my young daughter. We always have a good time here. I like that she always find new children to play with. The facilities are clean. I am grateful that the bathrooms are nearby.

The kids enjoy this park. Its close and convenient. They have two different play areas, one for the little kids, one for the smaller kids but its all in the same area so I can watch the kids play at the same time. It us also has softball fields.

I don’t understand why dogs are not allowed. Doesn’t funding for city/county parks ultimately come from the taxpayers? It also says no bicycles but I see people in there on bikes so are rules just for some and not all?

Wonderful for families and if you wanna just sit and watch the softball games! They have trails to walk and you honestly feel safe

Great place for family and team sports. It even has a playground.

Awesome concessions, fields, playground, and fan seating. The layout is great and the sidewalks run throughout. One of the best facilities our softball team plays at.

This park is a perfect spot to take a break, soft play ground floors and excellent walking path. Also you can get dipping dots at the bike shop on a hot day. Also as if you’re rocking chairs if you want to rock while you watch her children play

Great sand volleyball courts and the kids playground is completely shaded by massive trees! Great for the kiddos and parents.

Love this park, great trail and field and the Food Shack has a nice variety of food. Shady playgrounds are always great in Florida.

I drive 25 mins past several other parks for this one. Great atmosphere, shaded playground and several fields to play on. Restrooms with changing tables so life is easy.

This gorgeous little playground is a hidden gem. Shaded by beautiful oak trees, this newly designed playground has the latest in fun playground attractions. A covered pavilion is great for birthday parties or a picnic lunch with plenty of tab and benches.

Grumpy park ranger and lots of rules. Went with my 4 children ages 16,14,11 & 9. My 14 year old daughter brought her skateboard and was told she couldnt use it. They were also asked not to use the playground because they were too old. Although they would rather play on their phones, this isnt the family fun outdoor activity I had hoped for.

Love taking my daughter to this playground. Weve had her birthday party here the last 3 or 4 years and has always been very successful. The playground has a lot of trees around it and can be nicely shaded at times.

Clean restrooms, nice dugouts, friendly staff

Awesome park located next to a baseball field, with many different jungle gyms and swings. Scenery is very nice and the canopy of trees give great shade on warm days for the little ones to play under. Bug repellent is a must have as with most parks on hotter days like most of Florida.

Nice place for family fun

The park is a great place. I went there a few years ago and it was great place to just hang out and have fun. Also has a great playground and some cool trails and some baseball fields. Would definitely recommend for anybody taking the kids out there or just to have lunch or to watch a baseball game.

Fields are nice. The concession stand is reasonable. The bear is a bit stand-offish, but once i get to know her, maybe shell warm up a bit. The park staff is friendly

The upgrades to the complex are nice, but the no biking and pet policies are saddening.
