Nice playground, nice walking path. Several very steep hills, not accessible. There is a sweet little loop that visits a creek. All and all a lovely place.
What a great little park! We went early on a Sunday morning and had the playground all to ourselves. The trees surrounding the play area provided nice shade. Then we checked out the trails there, and theyre fantastic! Easy enough for preschoolers, with fun things to see along the way. The restrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
So many places to explore. I could spend hours here! Very clean and well kept. Dog friendly as well.
Nice small trail. But definitely not good for a stroller or small kids.
Good place to visit, had good space for long walk with very few people late Sunday afternoon....
Great location for short hike, meeting friends and letting your kids burn some energy
A hidden gem of a park. Unique in its shape and map. More than ample parking. This park has two entry points and has parking on both sides. The two sides are connected by a nice trail. Has a dog park too. Has a small hillock with some amphitheater like setup. Also has a kids play area inspired from anthills. Someone really took the time to design it uniquely. I don’t know how I didn’t find this earlier. Also, great for outdoor parties. We did one and had a blast.
Nice place. The walking trail is not developed much so it gives wilderness perception.
Amazing hike and so therapeutic! Cant wait to go again.
Prestine and very nature trails are everywhere and I didnt see any trashy areas
Cute path for locals in Alpharetta area. Shaded rock path. Trails are not marked so we got lost but trail isnt far from one point to the other. There are seemingly unmarked paths all over this place but in the middle is the access to creek that your dog may enjoy walking into.
Just want to get away and get lost in the forest? Go here.Bring a wand or a staff of power, lots of spiders out.
Love this park. Tons of areas to explore and easy to maintain your distance from others.
Clean. Great customer service
I walk to this park almost everyday. Nice short trail.
Great little trail. Doesnt take too long to hike and inclines arent all that severe so great if bringing dogs or kids or if you just want to get a quick hike in for the day to clear your head. I went in mid-October on a weekday and trail was quiet with loads of shade but TONS of spiders. I saw maybe 6 or 7 and i believe they may have been Golden Orb Weavers because of their yellow bodies and the way their webs looked. Id recommend keeping an eye out for webs.
Nice picnic area to get away in these days of social distancing!
Beautiful park, nice trails, pavilions, big dog park, really nice playgrounds in a woodland theme.
Secluded trail in the center of neighborhoods.
Never crowded and every time I go there is a Forsyth county police car that rides through the parkGreat place to bring your dog! Lots of open fields and trails. The fenced in dog parks (large and small dogs) are great too!
Great area! nice walking trails, playground, grass open space and a good dog park.
Very nice but some people dont understand that their dogs should be on a leash.
Very nice place for a walk in the nature.Tree, burds, creek.Place for kids to Play.
Nice walking paths but they dead end. And the trails could use a little TLC.
Nice peaceful place to walk the dogs
Great playground for kids to play and have a picnic!
Great natural park. Wonderful trails. Small playground good for older kids. 2 huge dog parks.
Nice place in the neighborhood
Great place for a quick hike with kids or pets.
Love this place, quiet, not crowded, a gem.
Beautiful and you can reserve a pavillion for the day. Nice clean facilities.
My favourite backyard garden.
Interesting park. Kids play ground statues look like oversized fire ants and the jungle gym looks like the inside of an ants nest in the web work.
Nice small, multiple trails. Has a couple of uphill running workout options too! Quiet and has water and restroom facilities. Enjoyed my walk/run here
My kids love the playground here and we love to hike on the trails also. Clean bathrooms. There is one pavilion with a few picnic tables.
Hope Caney Creek keeps this beauty untouched. The facilities there are enough and well maintained. I would hate to see any more development.
Cool rope jungle gym climbing thing.
Nice trails!
Such a nice spot to eat lunch away from the office. I can get a little reading done and stretch my legs a bit. Clean restrooms.
Good park for walking a dog
Love the serenity and the trail. Not windy/hilly -very kid friendly. Maintained well. Not too crowded.
Great dog park! We bring our large dogs here and they both love it. Plenty of room to play, nicely shaded by large trees, and plenty of benches for owners. Definitely my favorite natural park in the area!
Good trails, not too crowded. Hate overcroweded parks.
Great tucked away park with an easy hiking trail and a childrens playground with the jungle gym rope structure that is very high along with the formed concrete structures that are great for kids to climb on. There is also a sandbox. Our young boys like to run the trails.
There is no playground here for toddlers.
Can’t believe I never new about this place until recently. I love finding new trails around town and this one was brilliant.
A wonderful place for a peaceful walk, escaping the hustle and bustle of Johns Creek. I have often visited Caney Creek Preserve with friends and family, always appreciative of the opportunity to enjoy the scenery, enjoying the picnic tables as well as the well-maintained trails.
OK park. The dog area could be better. I liked the farmers market but havent seen it of late. Its at least close to the house. I like that the county put in the side walks along Caney. But, I wish they put up and enforced more speed limit signs, people think they are on 400. The speed limit on Caney is 35 not 50. Also, people cut thru Christopher Robin where the county has the speed limit signs to close to the beginning of the street on both ends. People obviously dont notice them, the posted limit is 25 not 45.
It does have a nice restroom. Small park, no playground, trail needs work.
Wonderful!
Love this park. My Kids are from 1 - 11, and there is something for everybody. I recommend walking the trail slowly and enjoying all it has to offer from nature.
Nice public place to walk a dog. Peace of wild Georgian forest one mile long. Just watch snakes around the creek
Loved it
Shade and sun. Walking trail and open field. Not usually crowded! Does have a lot of ant beds along sidewalk!
Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. Dog parks for small and large dogs. Wear sturdy shoes if you walk the trail.
Nice spot to walk the dogs, large section of shaded path.... We loved it.
Nice place but rather small, good for short walk or event with friends/family.
This place was awesome, dog park, sand play area, trails, very clean public bathrooms and very low key. Definitely going back!
Great walking trails through the woods and by the stream. Dog play areas too. Generally pretty quiet.
Love to walk there
Small but nice
Dog park, playground, and picnic pavilion on bigger side, small side just has picnic pavilion. Both sides have restrooms. Small walking trail through woods connecting both sides.
Fun park and amazing trails. It has a climbing thing and an untraditional playground. Beautiful stream and nice views.
Quiet kid and pet friendly. Beautiful upkeep. Clean family safe and in the country.
A nice place for a quiet meal. Clean restrooms too.
Great relaxing place
Dogs had a blast! Park was empty. I guess it was too cold to play.
Very nice park, but sad that the main trials have a ton of no biking signs. The smaller side nature trials should definitely not be biked, but the wider ones are wide enough and a blast to bike on
We love visiting here with our pup. Theyve done a great job of reseeding the enclosed dog park area and the trails are a blast - our dog loves the little river bend with the bench. The only reason its not 5 star is that weve been disappointed with how the maintenance has been handled on the hill leading down from the circle AND the hill down from the other parking lot. Both of these are clearly paths (though maybe not intended?) and they are overgrown. Theres also been a tree branch down on the circle for weeks untouched. Hopefully these things will be quickly fixed and we can enjoy the full park again soon!
Wonderful trails. Informational panels. Convenient and clean restroom facilities. Another Forsyth County gem.
I stopped here after work to decompress. I havent had time to see all of it, but it seems like a nice place.
Great preserve with beautiful trails to walk or bike. Exceeds your expectations.
Great place to walk your dog.
Dog park, play area, and a great hiking trail. However, it is not meant for running. Too many tripping hazards like rocks and stumps.
Great place to walk the dog and hang out with the kids.
Awesome non-traditional playground and beautiful walking trail.
Ok playground, not very big. There are some nice trails through the woods.
Nice local park with a small playground, walking trails, and a fenced dog park. Pavilions and bathrooms onsite.
A very nice park.
Nice park to take the kids and dogs. Not good for running distance.
Relaxing. Nice dog park.
Nice
Nice place to have a family picnic.
Thank you, Forsyth County!
Nice park for walk or jog.
Great for school trips
Good place to run
