The service, atmosphere, performers, and owners are awesome! They took very good care of us and helped us celebrate our moms bday. The food was good, but over priced. It could have been due to the special limited menu they were running that night, but judging from that night only, I have had better entrees for the price we paid. The limoncello cake was the bomb!The only serious critique I have is the $10 entertainment fee charged per person. This was not specified on Open Table when I made the reservation nor the did I see it stated anywhere boldly on the website. The music was great, and we love supporting musicians, but paying $70 on top of our $280 food bill was a bit much. A suggestion: if you have dinner reservations and spend over a specified amount, maybe the entertainment fee can be cut in half or removed?

The food is nice but the music and live singing makes this place a real gem. They have wine bottle specials on Mondays and its a really nice mature crowd. If recommend their location for any romantic occasions.

Stopped in for drinks and dessert. Was pleasantly surprised by the amazing atmosphere and service. A great drink selection and their tiramisu (WOW!)

Altobelis is a classic Italian restaurant in North Fulton. Come Hungry.The service is friendly and the dishes are classics. Lots of Pasta, rich sauces, and protein coated in egg.They have a solid wine list well. There is also a weekly piano bar and singer.Two of their dining rooms close for private events. Youll have a great night!

This place has the best ambiance. Get a bottle of wine, an appetizer and some super comfort food, and don’t leave before you have the tiramisu.

Altobelis Restaurant and Piano Bar is simply the best place I have ever found. Born and raised in NYC, lived there for almost 40 years and I have never found anywhere that even comes close. 7 nights a week they offer not only the most delicious food and outstanding entertainment, but the service is also incredible!!! You cant get any better than this. A must try and new favorite for everyone. Great job Al! Youve succeeded way beyond where others could only dream of being. Went for dinner last night. There’s a reason they’ve been here for 33 years. I had a delicious dinner and a great time. The live music was fabulous! This guy is there every Tuesday and sings Mo-town and the like. My salmon nearly melted in my mouth! Service was excellent. Safe distancing was in place and employees wore masks. Can’t say enough good things. And they, like all restaurants and businesses, can use our support right now.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. We were served by Al, the restaurant owner, and I could tell he personally cares about our experience and went out of his way to make it great. I witnessed a man struggle to read the menu at the table next to us, and Al sanitized his glasses and offered them to the man so he could read it. That level of genuineness is found throughout the staff. The food is delicious as well. I highly recommend the cannoli. Will definitely return!

I have been going to Altobelis since my rehearsal dinner 30 years ago! The wonderful food, atmosphere, and staff has always been the best! We had a wonderful dinner picked up curbside tonight and our dinner was packaged so nicely with their amazing garlic rolls and salad. Their family attends Mount Pisgah Christian school where I teach. Our school board and Altobelis provided dinner for all the teachers and their families...what an amazing gift! I highly recommend ordering a family style dinner for pick up. You will enjoy the food and probably a break from cooking!!

We had delivery and it was great. Food was delicious and was delivered still hot. The girl, I believe her name was Andy, was so nice and went out of her way to be helpful. It’s been my favorite restaurant for a long time.

First visit-Great food & live music in an intimate atmosphere thats also comfortable like a friends basement bar. The servers were attentive and the food was delicious! The talent was engaging and lively: Michael Thorpe and the other musicians were on point. We will be back!

We have been going to Altobeli’s for over 20 years. The food and staff have always been great. This is not your flashy new restaurant that focuses on glitz over substance and service. This is a restaurant that makes patrons feel welcome, serves great food and is reasonable in price and portions. It is a gem for anyone valuing those attributes.

The ambiance was interesting. The food was presented well but not the quality we expected. The service was not attentive, had to ask for drinks multiple times however there were several people available. We had several items from chicken pastas, raviolis, shrimp and various salads. The piano bar is a unique set up. There are a few servers who can really sing, one young later was really good but only sang one song.

Wonderful, filling food. An atmosphere that makes you feel warm and comfortable, but its classy at the same time. I highly recommend this restaurant because their food is above and beyond most Italian nearby.

I’ve been a customer of Altobeli’s for many years now! Food amazing as well as awesome service. During this crisis I’ve been graving their food and called in an order this evening. Al not only took my order he also delivered it right to my car. Of course he wore his mask and gloves. As always my dinner was so delicious . Love those big groups standing in line out front. Kinda was hoping for a little more from this place but whatever.Used to be nice. Music is great but food hasn’t been nearly as good the past few times I’ve went. Service was good but can be spotty.

We ordered Easter dinner for the family for pick-up and it was a perfect experience. We called when we arrived in the pkg lot and the food was delivered to the car. Everything else tasted good just as if we were at the restaurant. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy an eat out experience but at home!

As always, the food, entertainers, and staff were exceptional. Im going back again this week because bottom line - Altobelis offers the perfect dining experience for those who love great jazz and delicious food. Dont ever change the magic, Al!

Oh my God, I ate so much food here. They had live music, which was super and the food was excellent. I had the cacciatore with spicy sausage and cleaned the bowl. It was perfectly seasoned and so delicious. They have a great wine list, the staff was super efficient and helpful and the atmosphere was upscale. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic food! Maurice was our server and he was awesome. It feels like a family invited you into their home for a meal because its so intimate and the staff is so caring... I love this place. BTW the snapper is like BUTTA!!! Complements to the chef!!!

Everything was delicious. The service was exceptional. No wonder they’ve been here for 31 years! My husband and I came here for my birthday and we enjoyed the piano bar performances and of course the food and service. We had calamari, scampi, lasagna, limoncello, a bottle of sparkling riesling, tiramisu and a capuchino Everything was excellent. Want to come here again.

We ordered takeout for the first time with them due to COVID. As always the meal was excellent and the portions were very large. Altobeli’s has always been one of our favorites.

The atmosphere was perfect. Really enjoyed the live performances. The wait staff was very courteous and professional. The food was fantastic! You should go.

Food was ok, nothing to gef crazy about . Pricey though. Atmosphere was very pleasant and i I thoroughly enjoyed the piano and singing. Drinks were good too but also pricey.

Great food and piano bar was great. Only bad thing was the hostess. We had a problem when being seated and our waiter moved us to another table. Then the hostess yelled at us for moving and told we couldnt sit there. We were moved for a 3rd time and our first nice waiter wasnt ours anymore.

I went here because the prices indicated a nice restaurant. Instead it was just over priced. I was also excited about the piano. Food was from a frozen source. I had the chicken alfredo and it was like opening a fresh box of frozen alfredo that one gets for a $1 at Walmart. The room feels dirty and the service is not great. Also the entertainment at least the night I went was not a piano but some guy singing Whitney Houston badly. Stay away.

Stuffed clams app w bacon is a great starter. At the reccomendation of the bartender ordered the veal francese as the entree. It was the best francese anything I have ever eaten. Between all of this and a bottle of good white wine THE LEMON MARSCAPONE CAKE was a really good way to end things. Great night, great food, great staff. 10-10 would reccomend to a friend.

Food was delicious - cant wait to come back all the way from Gainesville, Georgia. Michael was absolutely fabulous with the saxophone and his voice and choice of songs!!!!!!

High class and delicious place to celebrate a special ladies birthday. We dressed Copa style in fancy dresses and coats. We enjoyed dancing to the band and the food was outstanding. There were about 30 of us present and the staff treated each table as if we were the only ones there. Excellent service, food and atmosphere.Thank you... our group will be back.

Great food and good environment. Went here just before christmas with a large group. The service was very good and fast considering there were 18+ in my party. The deserts were very good. I also liked the spinach noodles they offer in several dishes. Will go back next time I am in town.

The food was great, staff was fab and the atmosphere amazing! We recently had a Girl Scout event there that the restaurant was gracious enough to accommodate us and blow us away at how well-run and kind everyone there is. The singers and pianist were also top-notch, even invited our future leaders up to sing!

We ordered from grub hub so this might not be the restaurants fault but Im still very disappointed. We ordered 2 pastas and a side of soup as well as a slice of cheesecake and the amount of food that arrived was amazing. 2 whole boxes of salad and a massive box of delicious bread. My friends pasta was delicious and a very large portion. I ordered the pasta levronaze which is described as an exceptional sauce; fresh tomatoes, garlic, olives, capers, sun dried tomatoes & spices sautéed and tossed with angel hair pasta. What I received can only be described as cut up spaghetti with no seasoning and a smattering of carrots, broccoli, yellow squash and zucchini. I paid 15 dollars for this particular dish. Needless to say I was quite disappointed. I dont know if another menu item was accidentally sent in place of what I wanted or if the kitchen was lacking in ingredients, but regardless, this is NOT what I ordered. Everything else was excellent so I find it odd how sub-part this dish was.

Came here for years. Came back several years later to celebrate a friends birthday and started out great! Kathy at the bar was amazing. Our server started out attentive and then disappeared for the rest of the time we were there. The owner was uninvolved and seemed unhappy to be there. HORRIBLE service. Sad to say I would never go back. This used to be our favorite place!!
