It was SO beautiful! So many trail options. Theres shorter and easier trails, longer trails with slight inclined paths. Not to mention pets are allowed and theres various clearings along the way and many benches to take a rest, enjoy the scenery or play catch with your pooch! All trails are paved and safe. A nice bige pond to watch the mallards gracefully swim about. And seeing there is so much space, even on a regular day, it never seems busy! A very family friendly place!

Abundance parking within the park. First thing I noticed was a park having rest room available to the public. This massive park is well kept with mowed lawns and well maintained paved walking/biking trails. A real crown jewel in Allentowns park system.

Smooth black top. Open trails. Lots of friendly dogs on weekend and their people. Safe place to walk. Handy bathroom.

This is a great place to practice mindfulness, get some fresh air and exercise. if you like painting or taking pictures theres plenty of spaces to do that too and you could even have a little picnic if you want to pretty much the skys the limit.

I went for a walk with my dog and had a great time. The walking path was well kept and the scenery was beautiful. My only concern was that there are no spots to get a bag for dog poop. But since thats a small problem, this trail still gets 5 stars.

Great place for an afternoon walk on a sunny but brisk winter day. The borough/county should B proud of the park maintenance provided by their staff. People were friendly and pets were under control. No problem with access or parking.

Wonderfully beautiful park with a somewhat long walking and biking path. Nothing too special in terms of points of interest but its great for getting in a few laps while playing Pokemon go. Its very easy to find parking and has ramps into the park so its wheelchair accessible.

Nice park with a great walking trail; do enjoy walking there! I do wish, though, there would be some extra effort in cleaning up the lake!Maybe adding fountains in the middle would clear up the algae. Fountains would not only add some beauty, but also add some movement to the standing still water.

A park perfect for all of your outings! We bike here, walk here, sit and have picnics, and watch the duckies. My toddler and I have been coming here since he was a few months! Its always well keep and has beautiful scenery. There are bathrooms on site, although not usually clean.

The park has a main oval loop that is 1.25 miles long and also has a secondary loop that branches off from the main loop for an additional half mile that reconnects back into the main trail.While another reviewer mentions rules and lanes, no one follows them and people more or less walk where they want and bikers weave in and out as they please with no On Your Left or anything like that. I will say that the one rule that everyone follows is cleaning up after their pets. Everything is normally spotless even though the poop bag stations are perpetually empty.

We love walking our dog in this clean park. My only wish is that there would be no bikes allowed. People seem to think they are at the Velodrome as they race around. This park is well kept and alway a bench or grass to sit and just enjoy the birds and nature.

Too many unmasked people despite many signs saying you MUST wear a mask. And no one moves aside when you pass.

Great for runs and walks! Usually pretty crowded with a lot of people walking dogs and with small children, so make sure to keep your head up!

Love this place! Theres a spot by the old log cabin where birds are fed often, you can literally feed them out of your hands if youre patient and still, maybe it only works for vegans

If youre someone who likes quiet places than this is the place to be. Clean environment, Nice People are there too, but be warn that this place do not have a swimming pool, the only open water there is a pond for ducks. This place is good for jogging and to view the beautiful nature.

Going there since a baby ! So much history! Just be careful like any park in really early hours and night! Otherwise such a nice park! You always find so many things you never knew about this city!

Wide walking trails through variety of terrains. Large lake full of geese. Picturesque, but watch out for tons of geese poop, a definite drawback. Small hills to climb, from which youre rewarded for your efforts by a lovely view of the park below. On the weekends, it becomes crowded with hikers, strollers, families enjoying picnics, racers, bikers, dogs, etc. Its much more fun during times of relative quiet. There are stations with special, thick bags with which you curb your dog, nearly eliminating dog poop accidents. Parking lots are small; but, you can park along city streets. Public bathrooms are a wonderful addition to your experience. Beds of daffodils, tulips, and more are carefully tended, as are the lawns and trails: less litter and more natural beauty. Nice place to stroll overall.

One of the nicest parks in Allentown. I live close by so I walk here daily. Lots of wildlife, flowers, and greens plus a nice large pond and a couple streams. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends.
