Totally cool place to check out.

We visited this center today while Allen heritage day was celebrated. The center has history facts of Allen which are interesting, especially the info about the Sam Bass railroad. Would be great of videos are added in the center. Train robbery reenactment was done by Allen high school drama club and this play was fun to watch.

Historic railroad train station converted into senior center. Blends in beautifully with old Downtown Allen.

Cool place to visit on the weekends to check out Allens history

Very disappointed! Website and signs on building say the museum is open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 10 am - 2 pm. However, yesterday, the 2nd Saturday, it was NOT open and there was no one around, and no signs indicating why the museum wasnt open. You would think they would be open when they say they will be, especially since it is also Spring Break. I gave it 2 stars because it looks like a neat place worth visiting.
