If youre looking for a nice place to take a stroll or walk, this place is solid! It is super spacious and you can easily distance yourself from others (super covid-friendly). A lot of people were wearing a mask when I was there so that was a plus. Plenty of people being active via tennis, sports, and general exercise. Maybe avoid the super crowded areas if it is a weekend day. I can see plenty of families coming here during the weekend to eat and hangout. Be safe and wear a mask!

Almansor Park, considering in the middle of Alhambra City, its so big & wide open. The highlight of the park is running course. It is cushiony. You feel so good because you get little impact on your feet while you are jogging or running. Accentuated with a pond; middle of this park & a water fountain draws your sight. Kids may love to see water fountain, ducks and geese swimming the edge of this pond. You can hit some golfballs at the golf course and practice center. This place, you can be easily spent a half day with your kids or friends or family.

One of the best parks I have been too! So many ducks, swans and tortoises! Beautiful views! They also have a track around the park.

Almansor Park: surrounded by the Cal Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Gardens, food trucks, botanical gardens, and a huge green park in the middle of it all. Its a tourist attraction, but Im sure it attracts a lot of locals too. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be more motivated to jog ;)

Nice big park. It has everything that most residents need, basketball court. Tennis court, soccer field, baseball field, walking lanes, indoor gym, ponds, fountains, and an adjacent golf course, great park.

As of late, my husband and I have been taking walks around this park. We like the concourse, where you can walk or run laps. It’s situated right in the heart of the suburbia which is Alhambra. Nice, spacious park with bathrooms.

Went here for their $1 Sunday deal. Its $1 for parking, $1 drinks, $1 hot dogs, etc. We splurged and spent $3 to get our own little booth thing to sit in which I would recommend. If you dont want hot dogs though, be prepared to spend $7 for nachos. There was one lady working the betting counter who was extremely unpleasant. Other than that, it was a fine day and a great deal!

The park has a lot to offer the community; its clean & beautiful to look at with its turtles, ducks, & pigeons, among other birds & squirrels. Theres a couple of ponds with water fountains, large green picnic area with a comfortable running track around it & along other sections of the park, a golf course, basketball court, etc. Its really awesome & was peaceful on the mornings I went, even if there were a good number of people; it wasnt over run. Check it out & have fun! :-)

Very nice park, not crowded on a Thursday...walking path around the whole park & dog friendly bags/trash can provided for those who forgot their poop bags, limited seating of course due to covid but you can find a nice spot to chill & feel the breeze, watch out for the black/green duck, geese, swan poo thats all over it doesnt smell bad but you dont want to track it into your car...noce place to bring your lunch too

Next to a golf course in San Gabriel, Almansor park is a great getaway within the city, green areas, calisthenics, soccer field, basketball courts, roofed gym, ponds and so, is a great place to stretch out, excercise and unwind.

Almansor Park is a huge beautiful park located in Alhambra. Its a great place for residence and nearby neighborhood to relax. This park has a huge lawn and riddled with sports and amenities such as outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, rest areas, picnic tables, running/jogging track trails and exercise stations across the park. The park has a gymnasium where visitors can play indoor volleyball, badminton, table tennis and basketball. The park prohibits dog and smoking. Moreover, it is home to many rare bird species — snow egrets, blue herons, kestrels. Also, it has two huge ponds located at the center of the park. Parking lot is conveniently large. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful park in Alhambra and LA county.

This is the nearest park to our home, and we love it. There is so much to do here with the family. Theres a playground, basketball courts, indoor gym, and a beautiful lake you can enjoy watching with all the ducks. Theres also a running track for those who run/walk.

Very well landscaped park with trees, pergolas picnic tables, basketball area, etc. We brought a picnic lunch on a weekday afternoon, and it was relaxing, restful, and refreshing. DirgOng the Covid-19 crisis we needed a quiet, beautiful place to go where there were few enough people that social distancing was possible. Almansor Park has handicapped parking and accessible gender neutral restrooms.

Lovely park. Not many people following safety regulations, even though they are posted. Sadly, they are not enforced by officials.

Good palce to hang out, or play in the playground. Sadly kids cant ride scooter or bicycle. Theres basketball area too

I love this place. The geese are nice and the turtles are adorable. The park is clean. Sadly, there is trash on the edges of the pond.Just watch your step around the pond and I wouldnt recommend touching the rocks by it too, there was little kids peeing on them.- Also, out of all the people that feed the animals literally everyday, I get a ticket warning? & it was only a warning because my parents werent around.

City of Alhambra requires masks and one way traffic on rubberized exercise track. Please stay away if you cant read or dont care.

Loves it! Has a little bit for everyone, baseball fields, basketball full and half court, jogging trail that is soft on your feet, playground for kids by age, a free little, duck pond, work out situations, and pet bags incase your dog does their business. With more drinking fountains for the kids not next to the restrooms and a pet/dog park section, I could be wrong but I did not see one.

Almansor Park has definitely flourished over the years with alll of the renovations and effort out into improvement. The basketball courts are top-notch and the waterfront has never looked more gorgeous. Definitely recommend this park for family time, picnics, cheap dates, or any other recreational activity.

Such a pretty park. Plenty to do, such as basketball or frisbee. Lots of wide open space.

We really like the kids playground here because it is well shaded in the morning and the ground is made of the soft rubber material. There are 2 playsets for smaller and larger kids, both with slides. Also there are swing sets for babies and kids. Nearby there is a gazebo and pond with ducks and geese.

Very nice, large park with a lake and ducks. I like to play pickup basketball there, but they also have a playground for kids, a walking/running path, baseball field, tennis courts and lots of places to eat or barbeque. Definitely recommend if youre in the area.

Huge park with lots of parking, playgrounds, baseball diamonds, basketball courts (lots) ponds, turtles,koi,ducks,and geese. Pretty packed on the weekend, but very clean (although there are a lot of bird droppings around the pond). Bathrooms are very clean, picnic areas are too. Also has a long jogging track. This is one of the best parks around.

There is the best park in Alhambra . Next to golf course . There are different activities hold in the park. The track is very important for the locals resident come to enjoyed the free lovely day . Basketball, baseball fields always parked . The BBQ is next to a beautiful lake. Love to come here daily

They have a wonderful walking path. You can use it during the day and evening hours. There are a lot of people using it. Safety is not a concern here. Parking is a bit hard when there is a lot of people at the park.

The baseball fields look great, the running track is fun & it has workout stops for you to do along your run, theres ample night-lighting, nice public restrooms & snacks available until the park closes (around 10pm).

This is my santuary! So peaceful and such a happy vibe! Great place to go running or to meditate. They have a pull up bar and a nice pond to relax and bring some bread because there are plenty of hungry geese you can feed!

Beautiful Park. Lots of amenities: exercise equipment, track, childrens playground, basketball courts, etc. Can get crowded but everyone finds their own corner. Good for jogging but lots of foot traffic. Much of the ground is quite busy and noisy. It wont be easy to find an isolated area for meditation.

Nice big park with a running track, although jogging can be difficult after work hours as it gets busier then. One star off because my car got broken into here once, though—not as safe as it seems :(

Really nice place, lots of generally happy people, and very visually appealing atmosphere. Spacious with lots of parking. Pretty popular spot. Nice running Path and the grass is well maintained. Golf course next to the park. I saw vending machines, well-kept restrooms, and some great lighting after it gets dark.Some dogs but some owners dont pick up after them. Only real con Ive got for this place.Yeah, I recommend. Ill come back.
