Rude staff. Great if you potentially like to walk 18. Apparently the staff doesn’t like to bring carts out for last minute tee time bookings. Played over 50 rounds here in my lifetime and once loved it, It was my go to golf course for taking out customers, but because of a recent encounter with the staff, I will never go there again. *Paid In Full*

Well the beer was cold And the cart girl beautiful! On the golf, enjoyed the round except for the other golfers. Played as a single and not one offered to let me play through or join them. Just drove around the jerks. Never been to a course where everyone was like this. Greens are fast, will be back

The course was ok. But, upon walking into the shop, I noticed none of the guests were wearing masks. I went t the pro shop to buy water and the guy at the counter wasn’t wearing one. I asked him where his mask was and he said, “I feel pretty safe without a mask”. He directs me to the bar where a large crowd is gathered, nobody wearing masks.I don’t care about how he as an employee feels. Illinois mandates that you need to wear masks. There is a sign on the door of the golf club. The least this golf course can do is take the safety of its customers seriously.

GCI was a great course! Played there recently- fairways looked so bad. Either a ton of disease or lack of proper care. The greens used to be fast. Now they are slow, bumpy, and in really bad shape. Its truly a shame that this once nice course has fallen apart.

Fish fry Friday is awesome. Catfish would melt in your mouth and they also have prime rib like butter to your taste buds. the portions were very good in the prices good to good accommodations with seating if you get early and the waitresses and waiters in the bartenders are fantastic.

For $62 I would expect the course to be maintained much better. Lots of dead patches in fairways and on some greens, bunkers with no sand.

Had my sons bridal shower last week. The food was great and staff very accommodating and friendly.Would highly recommended this for any occasion

Very nice banquet hall. Golf course is very nice, alot of hills and very quiet. Alot of parking. A must check out come spring or summer.

Cozy little banquet hall great for parties. The room has ample space for dancing and eating and they decorate very nicely!

I have been playing golf all spring in the rain and cold. All the courses have been in excellent condition. Great weather for the golf course for growing but not so much for the golfer. This golf course is in such bad condition. The greens are bare in many, many places. Throw a little seed out with this rain it couldnt hurt. Fairways are very thin. I think the cost was $35.00. So not worth it. I traveled an hour to get to this course. They wont get my money again.

Was looking for a good fish fry. Terribly disappointed.

All around great place to play golf and enjoy the day. Staff is friendly and helpful and the course is amazing as well. This place is great!

Just hosted my wedding here. the attention and cooperation of the staff here made our event a very memorable experience. from the professionalism and the prompt attention to answering any and all questions( I did not have a clue what I was in when I took my own planning) Terri was amazing.even with the little snafu we had with our bakery, Terri stepped in and took care of us.thank you for your assistance and for making our wedding amazing.

Course is in sad shape; bunkers are in poor condition, the tee boxes full of ants, no water stations (or beverage cart). Not sure why its gone down hill :(

Great place and helpful staff.

A very fair, but long course. Course was in very nice condition. The greens are fairly small and very fast. Not much water in play except for possibly a par 3 on the back nine, where you are hitting entirely over water.

Unpretentious course and staff which is a always nice. I choose GCI because the course is well maintained and most importantly to me, the staff are friendly, helpful, and not stuck up. Im a casual golfer who golfs for stress relief with friends - GCI makes it easy.

My experience with Golf Club of Illinois was great. Mark Psensky made the event and a great learning experience. Everyone needs to come out and enjoy the benefits. Thanks Mark and Golf Club of Illinois.

Was here for cubs scout event. Food was pretty good except for mash potatos, they where awefull.

Miserable and rude staff. Same employee stopped us three times to question what we were doing and had to check our receipt to make sure we paid. He claimed there were kids goofing off on the course and accused us. I am 30 years old and not a kid by any means, I just wanted to golf and enjoy the weather. Screw this place

Tough course, like I remember. Greens were true and fairways in great shape!

Terrible staff. Got stuck behind the league championship with a five some. They had two people walking and would not let my three some play through. The golf pro there said we couldnt play through. We skipped and went a hole in front of them. There we are getting heckled by the five some as we are putting. I was disgusted, will never play here again.

Under funded and beginning to show. I give them 2 more years tops.
