One of the best parks for family exercise. Theres a walking path and small playground with a slide (no swings) for the little ones.

Not very many places make me appreciate being a tax payer but, this one does. I am proud that my community saw fit to develop this area. It’s is great for running, taking a walk, playing with your kids on the play set, or just sitting on the deck to reflect on your thoughts.

Nice park in Alexandria, LA with a decent sidewalk for walking or jogging. According to an walking/jogging/hiking app I use the full loop is about .6 miles.

Its so peaceful at almost all times of the day with trees and hills and a circular walking path with flat and upward inclines. Its a wonderful place to exercise. You can sit on a bench while the kids can play on the playground.

Love running the hills here for a good workout!

Great park but make sure your out by 10pm or cops will come to send you out bc it closes at 10. Not open 24 hours.

Its the place I always go that when Im at the point of giving up on life and myself. Every time I go there I seek God hoping he will be there. And some how every time he is there to comfort me. That park will distance you from the distractions in your life and give you the perfect amount of time to find the answers to all your problems. No drug can help you. No person can change you. Only you and God can save you.

Clean, great family environment, dogs are welcome especially if they are on a leash. The park has hills so it’s great for exercise. You can causally walk on a date or run for a workout.

The grounds are nice for jogging. Other than that theres not much else. Mediocre play area for the kids but lots of open space to toss a football around.

Best place to get your workout on hands down. Its in a good neighborhood too so theres no worry about bad things happening. The park can be crowded at times though just because of how popular it is. But its a nice talking path for workouts to say the least.

When the weather is nice outside, this is the place to spend your time. The playground is small but nice. The walking/running trail is beautiful and Ive always felt safe here. The best though ; it has a bird sanctuary with a nice lookout. Its a great place to spy red-winged black birds, mockingbirds, shrikes, and even a hawk or two if you really look closely!

Peaceful and beautiful!! Been going here since I was 5. I am now almost 20

Its not big, but a full lap is around. 6 miles. Small playground for the kiddos. Seems to be a pretty safe area.

Clean family friendly park

Good: The park is clean, has a good walking track. Bad: Limited shade at play area, Parking has no shade. No pavilions or tables or restrooms and the City says NO BICYCLES.

Teeny, tiny playground with no swings. Its still a pretty park with lush green grass though.

Great place to go walking or to bring young kids to play or even have a picnic with the family. Just one issue there is no bathroom or shade so it is really hot and if you need to use the bathroom there is none.

Very clean, unlike much of Alexandria which is really quite dirty. A very pleasant place to walk in the evenings.

We love walking the track on sunny days. Its so relaxing there.

Good bird park. Closes at 7pm which is a bit soon but the hours are posted in a funny spot that can be difficult to see.
