Arrived at dusk. Got to see some deer and its fawn. Pretty cool. Lucky too. Great view great scenery!

Watch out for the lizards... They get really hot in the sunshine...

Its such a great park with amazing view of both mountains and sunsets . Great family place ! The park in which it was named, holds deep meaning to me and my entire family. W L Jackson was my dad and My forever hero !

Cool little park you can bring your little ones to knowing they will have fun. It is clean and pretty well maintenanced.

Good for the kids, the dog, and the old guys playing Bocce ball. The dog park is not enclosed and right next to the park. Right off of Tramway also.

Great park for dogs and families. Doggie bag station and trash cans for dogs. Basketball court, playground, water fountain and bocce ball. People donate tennis balls and frisbees for the dogs!

I love this park. Well maintained and provides some nice greens when you are missing it.

I brought kids here to play and they enjoyed the playground. The difficulty is that there is a nice flat grassy area uphill from the playground that one might assume is a place for anyone to use. But it seems that many people think of this as an un-enclosed dog park. Im actually totally ok with this... the problem is that there is A LOT of poop in the grass and a kid is inevitably going to step in it. If dog owners are doing meet-ups here, a nice way to say thank you back to the community would be to pick up some extra poop, even if it doesnt belong to your dog. I try to do this when I use the enclosed city dog parks b/c its like paying it forward. I might have missed seeing my dog do his thing, so lets just work together to keep the park nice.

Had lunch here. Was small, quite, clean. Will return and let the kiddo play.

Theres a nice tiny hill in this park where when it snows, children can slide down and have lots of fun!!!
