Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a nicely structured exhibit area added to the pleasure of encountering a number of unusual specimens. In addition to tarantulas and brightly-colored beetles, the large leaf eaters and walking sticks were a real attraction for us. The giant centipede certainly got our attention!

My two sons really enjoyed seeing the rare insects and spiders. Great two story building, with lots to explore.

Wonderful time spent here and had a lot of fun and enjoyed all the insects and other critters that were there.This is next to the aquarium and you can access it free when you show your ticket stubs.Well worth a visit and tge value is awesome.Spring will be worth going back to check out yhe butterfly exhibit.

I really miss the young lady who volunteers here sometimes, Cecilia. She is very knowledgeable about bugs. Shes also a very sweet person.

I got to shake hands with a Tarantula and see many amazing anthropods from around the world!

As long as you dont have bug phobias, this is a great place. The leaf cutter and, the giant cockroaches, the many stick insects--this was much better than I expected.

My sons (13 & 11) and I thought this place was so cool! So many different bugs. I especially enjoyed the way they set up the leaf cutter ant habitat, so the ants can walk across a vine with their leaf pieces right over visitors heads!

Love how creative the bugquarium was, lots of cool stuff.

Fascinating! Plan to spend some time here. Also go wash your hands in the restroom...look very closely to the mirror above the sink...

Unique! Great for kids of all ages. Great granddaughter thoroughly engaged. Interactive hands on experience. A must see!

Really liked the leaf cutter ants

If bugs, spiders and creepy-crawlies freak you out, then stay away! Otherwise, the Bugarium is a neat place to visit at the Botanical Gardens. There are wood-cutter ants, spiders the size of your hands, and lots of other insects and bugs to see. A cool exhibit to watch is the naked mole rat colony near the exit. Not for the squeamish!
