The wines were amazing, friendly and professional service. The vineyard grounds were stunning. Definitely a place to stop for a nice atmosphere and a great glass of wine

Great atmosphere. Great pizza and wine.

A hidden treasure, a place to slow down and take a deep breathe of fresh air... and of course a glass of wine. Yes, this is a quaint environment when ordering but this allows you to actually engage with the owner/staff, and others. If you expect anything else other than warm, cozy atmosphere, and do not have time to engage with others... sorry you are too busy... Yes, there is a tip/gratuity/service fee of 20% “non-negotiable” so if you don’t want to bless others and encourage the locals... again, you may want reconsider to stay home and snuggle with your phone/social-media network.

This place was awesome. Great pizza! They also have wine and wine slushies. Never had one but they were great. Great atmosphere for whole family. A+. Loved it. Brick oven pizza is the best !!!

We enjoy drier wines and were very excited to find such a wide variety sweet to dry! They serve wood fired pizza but not today. Will need to try that on our next trip!

Slight issues here. The pizza and wine slushies are fantastic for sure and the staff are polite, but... They really need to fix the way they do their ordering and payment process. You have to stand in line for a while to go inside a small building (not very social distancing friendly if that is important to you) to place your order, to pay, and to place an order for anything additional after the initial order (drinks etc). We waited in line twice just to order and then pay. Then upon payment they tell you the tip is already added and come to find out that tip is 20%. Now Im all for generous tipping, but with the cost of the drinks and pizza there, for only two of us, it was a $10 tip and the only thing they did was bring the actual pizza to the table, nothing else... We even got our own plates and napkins. As much as I love the atmosphere and the food these issues will probably keep us from going back. I really hope they fix these things. The tip should always be up to the customer in groups smaller than 8 and no one should have to stand in line multiple times to order food and to pay especially during a pandemic.

Always a great experience. Great pizza and great wine but most of all the great family that operate the place.

The response she got back was that the 20% tip is added to a bill to pay for their employees to work the fields basically....Im a good tipper but I dont like being forced to tip. Especially when I stand in a long line (during a pandemic) and get MY OWN drinks...With that being said I dont think its a customers responsibility to pay for your employess to work the fields for the wine that you sell to your customers and at pretty high price. You should be paying them for that. Not adding it to customers checks. I wont go back because if this. Pizza is delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the owners and staff are super friendly and the vibe is really cool and relaxed. Great place to swing by and pick up some wine, chill in the enclosed patio (on a semi cold day even), eat pizza, and listen to music while youre here. Ill definitely be back!

Found this place on groupons..Decided to drive their one beautiful Saturday during the summer..We fell in love with this place. The wine and the people that work their are amazing...We go as often as we can.. This is a nice place for a romantic outting..Not only is the wine amazing but so is the food...

I have visited this winery a handful of times. I keep coming back for the best wine in AL and customer service. Today was no different. We did a full tasting today, bought a pizza and slushees. I can’t speak enough about the customer service. That’s what sets it off from the rest. It’s a must visit.

Always a great place for pizza and a good bottle of wine. Wish they had a meat and cheese tray.

Highly recommend. Beautiful winery, great staff, very good wines. Will definitely be going back. If their pizza is as good as the piece of baguette I had, it should be five star also. Unfortunately, they only sell the pizza on Friday and Saturday.

Great place!

Yummy pizza! Im a tee totaler, but everyone loved the wine freezes. They have bottled soft drinks and water. The atmosphere is lovely. Outdoor dining under a nice gazebo or under an arbor. Very pleasant.

Awesome From the time you pull up you get a country winery feel. There is a great selection of merchandise and wines and a one of a kind brick oven pizza. The owners are very polite and friendly. I give it 6 out of 5.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I tell everyone about it. Wonderful wines & great story telling about each one. The gift shop has the best stuff. I have even made my husband a wine drinker by bringing him here. One of my favorite places. A must see.I wrote this 6 years ago. I STILL rave about Jules Berta Winery. The wine has gotten finer with time and so has Jules winery. I send everyone I can that way.

They have a wine for everyone and every pallet. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their product. Only downfall is its strictly wine. I know they have people come in every so often and sell food but they could make a killing if they served some kind of appetizer or canape.
