My husband and I visited Uwharrie Vineyards & Winery on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The grounds are gorgeous with inviting areas to sit outside. We enjoyed a wine tasting with Mandy who was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as told us the history of the winery. She was so pleasant and a lot of fun to talk to. They have lots of beautiful pottery, jewelry, t-shirts, and other gifts to purchase. Ashlynn was the other person working and she was equally friendly and helpful. We were welcomed to go into the vineyards and try the grapes. We were also told we could bring our own food and enjoy a picnic on the grounds. The wines were delicious and we cant wait to go back and visit again. It is definitely worth a visit if you have never been.

What an absolutely beautiful place. People are super friendly and wines are lovely. We are Harvest Host members and were able to park here overnight. So accommodating and just a perfect relaxing spot. Definitely come for a tasting if in the area.

I have visited the winery several times, and Cindi is always wonderful and a superb somalia! She knows what goes well with food and she gets to know her customers. She welcomes me warmly and has a genuine smile that makes you feel welcome too. Love the wine, the location, and the service. I highly recommend you take time to visit and do a tasting.

This winery is a little off the road but not hard to find. However, it doubles as a reception hall so go through the far left side door for wine tasting and food.Last time I went through the far right door and there were a few people setting up a Wedding reception. They were nice and pointed me to a hallway that connected the two spaces.The wine tasting had a big assortment of dessert wines, each one exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them. I also got a Habanero Salsa dip that was really tasty to!

Amazing tucked away winery with a great selection and reasonably priced wine. Staff is friendly and grounds are well kept. If youre in the area I would recommend!

Wine was good, site was nice too. Mask mandate wasnt being followed by staff for part of our time there.

What a cool place!! $5 to taste 17 wines. All of them were good. Only problem was we liked too many wines and had to buy a case. . The outdoor patio is very relaxing. Good place to bring dogs.

Had a nice time at the vineyard. We did a tasting and the wines were good. My favorite was the Blackberry its wonderful! The girl that waited on us was lovely, we went through the week so they were not busy and after our tasting we sat on the patio and had a glass. Wife and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the experience very much. A beautiful spot. We did the wine tasting and really enjoyed the Blackberry Velvet & Frost Velvet Magnolia so much that we bought a bottle of each. The ladies who worked there were very nice and we enjoyed their company. The vineyard is a very chill place for relaxing and enjoying an afternoon.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Nice wines with a good variety of sweets and drys. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff . Nice area outside to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Beautiful pottery in the gift shop.

Their wine is always great, and the people there are very friendly and helpful. You really cant go wrong with any wine they sell.

Went for the wine club dinner and entertainment. Food was good, wine was good, comedians were so so. First ac5 okay, second act offensive. Good value.

Went Sat. Night to the dinner and show. Food was not great and ate later then was told. Was not worth $50. Chicken was small pieces and the pasta was as cold as could be. Tryed to eat some of it. Salad was good should have just served salad. Pie crust was hard. Wine was good but not worth $50. Was very disappointed. Had been there one other time and food was great. But not this timecould have just bought the wine. Not sure if we will be back. Show was ok.

The vintners dinner was last night. Great food and wine.

Good wines, though not as aged or memorable as the local competition despite great product. Steel barrels make the wine more dry and tart for those that like such flavor profiles. Nice venue and friendly staff, along with an interesting assortment of merchandise at the vineyard store. A good experience.

Visited this vineyard this past Saturday. It was just so-so - nothing special. The lady that did our wine tasting was nice but wines were just average. Nice local pottery for sale in their gift shop.

The vineyard is beautiful, wine taste great and the staff is nice. To the person that gave one start because you showed up at the end of their day....if you want to wine taste, dont show up minutes before they close. Retail people have family and personal lives too. Respect that and dont expect them to stay late because you showed up late.

The saleswoman was very helpful in locating the wine we were searching to find. She also offered to let us sample some of the other wines that were available.

To far away from everything its a winery but there was not a tour given just a stop at the bar and someone giving samples .

Arrived at 4:48 to pick up 6 bottles of wine. Went inside for employees to tell me they were closing. I told them I knew what I wanted. They said, we are closing, come back later. The sign said they close at 5:00.

Horrible! They close at 6 and we arrived at 5:35 and they would not give us a tasting because they said they close at 6. You should serve until you close! Group of 5 was very upset since we raced to get there.
