This building is a big part of Albany Georgias history, especially in the downtown area. I went with some family to hear two cover bands battle against each other. It was the Beatles vs the Rolling stones. I will mention that both bands were excellent, very talented performers, had great stage presence, and were interactive with the crowd. But, in my personal opinion the Beetles won the battle, however Im a little biased because I really love the Beetles and their catalog of work& their style of music is more suited to my taste. Dont get me wrong I like and appreciate the Stones, but out of the two the Beetles are my favorite hands down. But, favoritism aside the Beetles put on a better show! So to sum it all up check out the performance for yourself and you be the judge. I highly reccomend it! The Albany Municipal Auditorium was a great place to have a performance of such a caliber.

I have been to several different events here and enjoyed them all. This is a great venue. The charm of an old theater with modern stage upgrades and amazing acoustics. I highly recommend attending a concert here.

Travis Tritt put on a Great concert one on one with the audience. The Municipal Auditorium was a very nice place to have this venue.

The show from Jamey Johnson was great.I the seating is tight but the set up for the performance makes up for that.I hope Albany will allow more shows like this to happen.I cant wait for the next one.Good job to security and friendly staff working the doors.

This is a quaint venue for concerts (been to 2 concerts here). The only restrooms offered were portapotties outside. The seating is quite uncomfortable for anyone over 5 and a half feet tall or if youre on the heavier side.

This was my first visit. I saw Little Mermaid performed by students from Deerfield-Windsor school. It was a very enjoyable time.

I watched a ballet performance of Arabian Night. The performance was awesome and the staff made sure we were comfortable. Awesome experience!

Saw Travis Tritt live in concert! This place is awesome. Comfortable seating. front-row seats very happy. I hope that they get more concerts like this!

AWESOME CONCERT ! Travis Tritt was superb instrumentally and vocally. The Municipal Auditorium is a wonderful place for this kind of musical performance. I look forward to more programs like this in the future.

A very quaint theater. Beautiful acoustics, ample backstage, and so charming. The foyer was a bit small, but, on a beautiful night, the front courtyard makes for a nice meeting spot.

My husband and I attended the presentation of Dream Girls at the AMA. This was our second time here in the last couple of weeks. While this is a beautiful venue, it seems plagued with sound problems. When microphones do work, the sound is crackled, static filled and difficult to sit through. I am sure the performers felt the same way and hated to see groups of us walking out. We will not return to this auditorium until we learn that the sound system has been repllaced.
