I was not aware that my evaluation ofDoublegate Country Club was not accurate!I grew up in Albany, Georgia and raised six children there. Doublegate was a fun place for the kids to swim, play tennis, and golf.It is a wonderful place for families and Itruly miss it. I live in Athens now butAlbany will always be home. We have held several events at Doublegate. As an Event Coordinator, they set my mind at ease and I dont have anything to worry about.

Just reopened after Hurricane Michael and still wonderfully hospitable and welcoming. Course took quite a blow. Hundreds of trees down and still completely playable. A true testiment to the commitment of the staff. Cant wait to play it again.

Very nice club, good course with a great mix of short and long holes, good condition (probably most of the time great, I played when dormant). Everyone there will treat you super, just all around nice people. Nice houses sort of surround the course but arent close enough to ever affect play.

Best golf course in Albany. Course is well manicured and greens are always in good shape. Friendly staff in the pro shop and sports bar. Can’t ask for more! Great country club!

We were here for a baby shower. The view was good, the food was great. I even won a game. This was my first time in this area of the Club.

My dad works here and makes the best meals

No stars (you are forces to select at least one star when leaving this review). This place was not good. Veal was all grizzle (emphasize really bad) and costed $28. It only came with a salad with some flavorless blue cheese. Very long wait from ordering time to when the food was brought out. Not enough bread for the whole table. No one ever checked to see how the food was or if we needed anything. They Compted me significantly when I complained but not enough. No one at the table was satisfied with their meal either. Wont go back, went to a Waffle House to eat a make-up meal.

Delicious meal. Excellent service. Great dining area. Everything fine dinning is supposed to be.

The Best greens southwest Georgia has ever seen!!! Ill even go as far as saying the greens are better than the ones Ive seen on PGA tours on TV. They know what their doing here.

We have our church events here and we have a great time everytime. The food is always delicious to. Very nice place to habe for events and parties.
