Have been there twice so far and have had a great time each one. The menu and drink prices are extremely pricey so I do suggest eating somewhere in the mall you know youre gonna like before hand. Very laid back but is a bit loud. Overall great times and Im going back next weekend for free tickets I won with Funny Bone.

I didnt know what to expect with a comedy club inside a mall, but this place was awesome and my experience was great. The show was like what you might expect, some smaller name people starting the show and ending with a decently known person on the comedy circuit. The venue is actually nice and pretty cozy. There arent really any bad seats, but some of the seats towards the front on the side dont give you a very good angle for the performer. The drinks are okay and the food is decent, but you should know what you want when you arrive because you dont have much time to order and get your food.

Comedy was amazing! Eddie Griffin was hilarious! Service was VERY slow at the beginning but then they did check back 3 times for drink orders. A good night out.

Its great if the comedians are good! Fun date or friend night out! Could get some better food and gluten free options! Times have changed need to have options for people with allergies!

Nice, clean, and very friendly service. Tickets are reasonably priced. Food is average tasting. The waitstaff is super. The seating is a little annoying bc youll end up sitting with strangers even if the show isnt packed. We saw comedian Godfrey this weekend and he was absolutely phenomenal. Got some good laughs from the openers too. This was our second time here and it was a really nice experience.

Saw Vic Dibitetto and he was funny as could be! Great show! However, the service was quite slow as we waited over 20 minutes for our waiter to bring a beer and he completely forgot our chips for the dip. I will say though, he made up for it and brought fresh hot dip and was very attentive after that so I give him credit there! The drink prices are very expensive as 2 drinks (just cranberry juice with coconut rum) was almost $25! Either way, had a great time, good laughs and spent time with family so it was worth it.

My wife and I love this place. Always a good time everytime we come. If you havent gone before you are missing out. I love that they did any age a couple of weeks ago was able to take the kids. I hope they will do it again soon

Show and drinks were great. Wish the ticket process went smoother though. Tried several times with different cards to buy the tickets online but it kept telling us that the transaction failed, so we had to stop in to the box office. We had a $50 gift card and there was a $10 service fee left over. The total was $60. We explained clearly how it needed to be split and after the cards were swiped, I was asked to sign an authorization for all $60 to my card, but was assured I wasnt charged the full amount on my card. Its just the system being funny, this is how it comes out, and thats all. 45 minutes later I returned home to a voicemail from their assistant manager Nick that there was a mistake with the payment and I was charged the full $60 but they were refunding it and that it might take up until 5 days to get the money back. He told me that he would put a note in the computer that he would come and meet me and my husband and pay for our app. Showing up to the venue, I dont know how that could have been possible as no one was using a computer. Where would that note be? We wound up just paying for everything, not seeing Nick at all, but still enjoying ourselves so thats their saving grace.

Loved the comic. The were very accommodating to my seating needs. Drinks for a little pricey but overall had a fabulous time would definitely go againo.o

If you like good comedy & have no ideal what to expect... then this is the place! Every time I go I get something that makes me laugh after the show is over! So go have a drink & laugh! Remember lifes best medicine is laughter!

We showed up early and got in free to our show. The staff were all great, and the drink prices werent as ridiculous as what we expected. Pretty good prices for this kind of a venue. The pretzel sticks were yummy. We will go back again some day.

The performance was great....it was Eddie Griffin so that was a given for an excellent performance! The bartender out front was great as well. Our waitress after we were seated was rude! She stood basically in front of me taking away our food that we were still picking at while watching the show. I told her we were still picking at it and she took it off the table anyway. Then I had to literally get up out of my seat and hunt her down to get another drink for myself and the person I was with. I found her way off to the side watching Eddie Griffin. After the last drinks she brought to the table she came right back with the check. Keep in mind Eddie Griffin was still performing. I told her Id settle up with the bill just as soon as the show was over. Apparently that upset her even more. She then said to me I dont need your signature I can just cash it out. So I took the check and put it in my pocket until the show was over. This upset me because Im trying to watch Eddie Griffin which is why we were there and our waitress is standing in front of me arguing. Thats why I just took the check and put it in my pocket and said Ill settle up after the show. Finally she walked away and left us alone until after the show. After the show I was putting my jacket on she comes back over and I get my card out and we walk with her. I asked her why she was no where to be found and why she would just take out food away without asking first. She started to get nasty with her tone. So I put my hand up like stop because at this point I was getting no where she obviously didnt care and this is how she gives it up. When I put my hand up (which was no where near her face) she says to me get your hand out of my face. I asked for her name and she said its on the bill. I looked on the bill and of course it wasnt there. So I looked over at the machine she just used to swipe my card through and thats the only way I got it. She had no name tag on. It was hands down the worst service I have ever had. At the Funny Bone you have no choice but to pay 18% gratuity. I sent an e-mail to The Funny Bone that was 5 days ago and I have heard nothing back from them. Im super disappointed. I wont ever go back there.

Saw Vic DiBitetto... He was hilarious. The venue was nice, packed us in. Had nachos (not so great) and fried pickles. We also had 4 drinks and 2 sodas. Bill was just over $100, bit expensive for what it was in my opinion. So I would recommend the venue, but eat before you go.

A good option for a night out with some well know comedians making visits. They add a tip onto every order even if it is just a couple drinks so be aware.

The comedian I saw there had me laughing from beginning to end and their pretzels are delicious with 3 different sauces!

Ive been here a few times and it was a good experience each time! Also, every once in a while Ill get free tickets to see a comic! It is a bit cramped but overall completely worth it!

Great show, great menu pricing, the seating is pretty awkward. You’re sitting elbow to elbow with strangers. If the seating was better they would’ve received 5 stars.

We saw Ryan Hamilton and it was a fantastic show. The upside to Funny Bone is the environment, I dont think there is a bad seat in the house. Another positive is the staff was friendly and helpful. One slight downside is that the food is average for slightly above average prices.

Loved it.Well organized great facility amazing food and 3 funny guys. Community seating actually worked out well also. Great staff and convenient rest rooms.The price of everything was very reasonable. We are looking forward to going back soon!

Show was very good but there was no indication that would be a tip included in the bill. We were pushed by the comedian to give extra tips and were given our bill when we were in a dark room and unable to read anything but the total. Because of this we were unable to see the additional tip and gave way more than we should have.

We had a great time last night at Funny Bone. All of the comedians, including the MC, were funny. We laughed A LOT. The place was packed, a sold out crowd for Vic DiBitetto, who was performing on high frequency even though it appeared he was sick with that nasty flu bug thing thats going around. The employees of the club managed the size of the crowd like pros, getting everyone seated quickly. Our waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed by the size of the crowd but just as we thought our drink and food orders might be goners, everything we ordered arrived at our table! We got everything we ordered, the food was delish, and we were very happy with the outcome of the evening. Theres not much to do in upstate NY in the way of entertainment so Funny Bone Comedy Club at Crossgates Mall looks like its doing well and we will definitely be going back.

Ticket booth was a downer again. Everyone else was pleasant and on the ball. Food was good, took home half a salad. Josh wolf was excellent. The mc and opener were funny and set a good vibe.

Check out Funny Bone! They do a great job bringing in big names and up and coming comics as well. Its a great place to take your date and laugh together. Good food and drinks too! Im going back soon.

Show was good but the service was horrible. They gave my sisters food to the wrong person and our food came as the show was ending. The waitress was rude and we didnt even get to see our bill before we paid for it. She also told us tip was not inceruded which was not true . Big bummer

I love a good laugh and I am certainly not a prude, but the language was not funny and was disgraceful. I was embarrassed. I will NEVER go again! The chicken quesadilla was very good.

They get good talent but it’s not very classy, understaffed and they over-serve people. My wife and I have been here 4 times and they’ve had to throw out rowdy guests every time.This past time the doors opened 35 minutes late and we saw our waitress twice the whole show. Matteo Lane actually complained onstage because they started handing out checks 12 minutes into his set.

I have been to the Funny Bone a handful of times, and have never been disappointed!! The comedians are always funny from start to finish, and my face hurts from laughing after.... If you are looking for a fun night with some laughs, then this is the place. The customer service is always great as well.

I love how they have such a variety of comedians come to this area. I didnt order food which is why I gave 4 stars, but I did order a regular drink which was nicely made. A friend I was with ordered one of their signature drinks and really enjoyed it. Nice place, always clean when I go and great staff.

The service was the funniest part of the night... seriously, it was a JOKE. LOL. Worst place Ive been to for a comedy show. Problem is they cram you in. Packed super tight. No room at all, practically sitting on top of each other. I could deal with that but.. Then they start taking food orders?!? Where are these people going to eat?! So we sat at 6:20 and got our food with 20 minutes left in the show... So around 8:40. We said no thanks but they pretty much insisted. To top is all off, the server spilled ketchup all over one of our jackets... But hey thanks for the two free appetizers for the NEXT visit. Lololol. Also, pre game it because you would be lucky to get a drink here. Simple fix. Get rid of food, add more servers.

I always have an amazing time when I go. No matter whos at my table everybody is there for good laughs and fun.

This is a fun night out for entertainment. Dont go just for the food, it is mediocre. Drinks are good but a bit pricey and service can be sparce. If you go as a party of two you will be sat with another couple which can be fun if you are open to talking to others until the show starts. Get there an hour before the showtime if ordering food and for best seats.

It was my first time there. I was invited by my best friend and her husband to see Tracy Morgan. The venue is beautiful, I like the ambiance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean as were everything else. I will definitely be back!

My family has been to Albany Funny Bonemany times. This place is a gem. We usually get free entry but lets all start supporting. The food is good. But the servers focon drinks. Start with th he amazing fresh baked pretzels with decent mustard dip. We went last weekend andthe comics one after another adlibed on the best Albany hot dogs like Guss. Comparing all of them these out of town guys tried. Hilarious. Go hereand support this amazing place.

National Comedy club chain that brings in some huge names in comedy. The club is clean and run well. Food and drink are pricey but not gouging you but in the end it is all worth it. The fact that they have a newsletter (email) in which they offer free tickets is a massive bonus. Staff on site are kind and courteous but order extra drinks early because servers have HUGE sections and it can be hard to get their attention with the noise. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, whether its for a date night with the hubby or missus, or a group of friends and coworkers.

The show was great, seats were ok, food was good (except they forgot the shipping sauces for the chicken tenders). All in all it was a good night out, especially considering the place was almost 100% full. The two opening act were very funny and engaging but the headliner, Rick Gutierrez was amazing. He absolutely killed it. Even the Q&A at the end was interesting and entertaining. A+

Comedy and ticket prices are always great. Seating is very tight, chairs are not very comfortable. Unfortunately every time I have attended a show my drink took very long to come out or was the wrong drink when it arrived.

The show was fantastic. Started a little late but it was a lot of fun.The service, however, sucked. Took forever. We ordered food for the table when we sat down. We never got it, so we said something but the show was almost over with so there wasnt time to get it and eat, so we said forget it.

Sever was great and quick. Love how the comedians get involved with the audience. The workers are a little aggressive with telling people to be quite. We personally felt no one was being overly loud. It takes away from the fun.

My family and I had a great time! We saw Dave Attell and everyone who performed was hysterical. We got seated immediately, which was great! We wish service has been a little more attentive with water and drinks. It always took about 20 minutes to get anything, but Im sure they were busy.

Great small venue.Went to see Tracy Morgan, who was hilarious. This is a great place to go on a Friday, Saturday or even a Sunday night. The food is very good however if you frequent the comedy club they need to change the menu items up, because its the same menu items being offered, over, and over, and over again. The wait staff is phenomenal and they really do work very hard to make sure to get your food out while its hot, and stay attentive for refills on your drinks. The 1st comic that comes out on stage (the host) is usually a local comedian and again, if you frequent the comedy club then its the same host, and its the same jokes. Dont get me wrong theyve had some very good hosts, however if they are going to use the same host time and time again, then that comedian needs to bring new material because the jokes arent funny anymore after youve heard them five or six times

This is a great place to go to. Make sure you show up around 30- 45 minutes early if you wanted to get drinks and food. Order drinks at the bar going in, its much faster. Note you may be sitting at a table of folks youve never met. Seating is tight. Sometimes the shows are hit and miss. But I died laughing at this last performance. The MC and main comedian were hilarious.

Nice venue for stand up. Food is not bad at reasonable price considering the captive audience. The show of course depends on the comedian of the night, but they do a good job of presenting local tallent openers.

Overpriced drinks, poor service, 18percent gratuity added to your bill, waitress never came back after taking the food order, had to go to the bar and get our own drinks,. This place has great food and drinks. I like going to see the Comedians and to have a good time. The only thing that I dont like is when they talk about inappropriate jokes and other stuff. Whenever I go with somebody, there is usually another group of people that I sit with.

Venue ok, food marginal. Drinks must make the show. Seats way too close on small tables and I am a small person... barely fit in. But layout is good, view good, clean so more positive than not.

I dont think I would go here again, if I got in for free. Everything is over-priced and over-crowded. Completely mismanaged, and rude atmosphere. We had to sit way too close to complete strangers, and I was uncomfortable the whole time. We left halfway through the Tarcey Morgan show, and I would NEVER even think about going back.
