Stoked to finally have a place (other than the movies) to spend quality time with family and friends. I loved the layout and am really excited for the arcade and future upgrades. I didnt have a change to partake in laser tag, but bowling was a lot of fun. Our server was very friendly and attentive, as well as other staff working. I appreciated the warm welcome from check in and my friends daughter totally fell in love with the bounce house. I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby! Its a great time with good company, amazing food and drinks and polite staff.

Nice place to relax and grab a brew. There are a few oddities though.1) The offset TVs in the bar make watching sports a little odd. The pitcher in a softball game disappears when shown from the behind the catcher view. Makes it a little hard to follow. Why not one large tv?2) Looked over at the bowling area. Kind of a strange set up with the guest seating (for spectators) way down on one end. If you are bowling on 1 & 2, there is nowhere for more than a couple of non-bowlers to sit and watch from. Why not put in spectator seating down the entire length?3) No pro shop? Really? What happens if supplies are needed? I really like bowling, I want to buy a ball... Oh I cant, I guess I am done bowling. It just doesnt make sense.The food menu is nice and the bar staff are very attentive and pleasant.Overall a nice place, but with a few quirks.

The bowling lanes here are real nice. Their oil patterns are kind of hard to figure out, which makes for a good challenge :) their food service is nice. Havent gotten the chance to try their laser tag though!

A newly built place. We did not play laser tag.Bowling was $25 per hour. Shoe rental $2.50, and staff was patient.A 16. pizza started at $20.Bar seemed popular. We ordered tall blue moon at $7.50. .Bring money.

Big and fun for the kids, but they didnt want to leave... Not cheap, but worth budgeting for frequent visits. Fun for everyone and theres food service for the bowling area as well Theres a sports bar and a new target area.

Lovely space! The restaurant looked wonderful. There was no arcade yet when I went over the summer, not sure if thats happened yet. I bowled here- lanes were in good repair and there was a great selection of balls to use. There is wait service at the lanes; our server was prompt and friendly.

Great place if you dont mind flagging down your waitress, gathering your own silverware, plates, fetching refills on your wine and soda, and then waiting 40 mins for your food. When your pizzas arrives, you may be lucky to have the dough NOT throughly cooked in the middle, and get half the toppings you ordered. Have to admit the workers were nice. Need more staff to run a busy place. Saw people sit themselves due to lack of workers. Great place to TEST your patience when you are hungry after a LONG day at work !

Wait 30 mins for an alley for them to tell you that they can only let you play one game and still charge you full price for that one game we told them we wanted 2 games. Sodas at the restaurant are not priced on the menu so when you get your bill your paying $3.00 per soda and the $16.00 burger is no different then one you can get at a fast food place. Probably wont be going back there.

The food is really good. I got the Rocket City burger with the pineapple slice and it was delicious. Along with their parmesan fries. They are understaffed but do a great job staying attentive otherwise. Havent tried the bowling or laser tag. Their arcade was not completely setup when I visited.

The bowling was fun, laser tag was great... However Saturdays should have more wait staff at the lanes I got my pizza at the end of bowling had to take it home instead of eating it there this is how long it took me to get my food and 1 round of drinks... Would of ordered more had I had some service...

Found out the kids eat free here, not are if theyll do that forever. (which is great) We were finally seated after a bit of a wait. ( They seemed to be let busy serving people bowling)And we were told right when we sat down that kids under 12 eat free. (When an adult orders from the full menu .... Order food was really good, server was nice and made sure to check on us. We only noticed afterwards (somewhat our fault) but they ended up charging us for the kids meal. Annoying...

The bowling lanes are very nice and the food was great! They are still working on the arcade. The machines are in the lobby but not set up yet. FYI, laser tag doesn’t open until 4 on Fridays.

When is the arcade going to open. I think if its going to be a Family Fun Center, you need to have activities for the younger kids. You cant call it a Family Fun Center if the younger (1&4 ) year have nothing to do except bowling. Need more than just laser tag and bowling. Remember the young kids.

The place was clean and nice. First impression was perfect. I did not do any of the arcade, bowling, laser tag. I went there to only eat. I was very surprised how delish was the Chicken Cheesesteak sub. The sweet potato fries were on point. I definitely recommend this place.

My family and I went in to bowl, it was fun the space is big. We ordered wings and fries they were both very delicious! We did look for the arcade but they didn’t have the machines in yet.. the staff was ok, seemed a bit lazy (except for the waiters) to even welcome us. But the place is ok. Seems like there is no where else as “fun” as this place.

Terrible experience! We got sat down at a dirty table with dirty seats and no silverware. Our server was nice at first but slowly she grew an attitude. When she finally got around to getting our order and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks took 15 minutes to come, and when they finally did the server told me that they didn’t have what I ordered so she gave me another menu so I can order something else. About 5 minutes go by and she takes my order for the second time, while the server is there my wife’s food shows up. 15 more minutes go by and she tells me that they don’t have the second item I chose either and at that point I had enough and decided not to get anything since my wife already was halfway done with her meal. A couple more minutes go by and my wife finishes her meal and I have to flag down our waitress so we can get the check, and this is where it gets terrible. We waited 20 minutes and she didn’t come back with the check. I then had to flag her down for the second time so she could get us the check and she finally did. She then gave me the check and I satIt right side up on the table for her to come get. It took about 18 more minutes until I’d had it and walked up to the bar to have her cash us out . My wife and I will not be going back to that place. Rude servers, unclean dining areas and just all around bad service.

This place is pretty nice and the food is good too. I have no complaints about it. My family and I like to go just to eat.

Weve eaten at the Pub Grill three times. The Philly Cheese steak sandwich was good. But the All About That Meat! Pizza was the best pizza Ive ever eaten. Our server Brittany was excellent. Havent bowled yet but enjoying the atmosphere while we dine. Looking forward to when they install the arcade games.

It was pretty good. I didnt explore all the activities or the restaurant but the bowling was fun.

So far so good since its been open. We really enjoyed the bar experience the staff were friendly and were really good salesman as far as up -selling food and drinks. They special made margaritas for me which were very sweet and thick but pretty great. Was really disappointed at the arcade not being ready as thats why we took the hour drive. Still looks like forward to when it does open.

Ive only ever eaten there, but their food has always been delicious. The only problem I have ever had with them was when I had a young lady as my server. Some of her friends came in and she spent quite a bit of her time talking to them.

We only did the laser tag. That was really fun although not cheap ($8/10min). The arcade was NOT available which is pretty disappointing since it was on the website and part of our planned outing. Seriously would take some one minute to update the website. Bowling lanes looked updated and facility is nice. The free jumping balloon was a nice treat for those with small kids.

Nice place for a impromptu lunch with friends. No crowds. Good food and prices. Bowling to boot.

Could have more things to do there, laser tag isnt open all day only select hours, and no game room or games . Staff is pretty nice though. No complaints on that, good customer service is hard to find, but they served us well.

We had fun during happy hour bowling & decided for some appetizers and a soda and waitress was very rude, I tipped her anyway but when she didnt say anything at all, no thank you or have a nice day, just literally NO WORDS! I will get my own order next time and save 5 bucks

Try to get to the lanes for happy hour bowling! Food is Good with a diversified menu! Lots of fun bowling! I dont look for entertainment in the lounge area though at the lounge seems to do well with all the TVs and a outside patio with TVs! Take your kids if desired I have lots of fun with my Grandsons there! Wife and I went mid day last week and picked a lane way to ourselves and re uped two time to keep adding more games! Yes in all for this establishment does for our town I definitely give it 5 stars!!!

The pinsetters are junk. This place hasnt improved even though there has been a change of management. Lane 12 keeps knocking over pins when it sets them no matter the number of pins. Also the computer is scoring incorrectly. When the machine got jamed my one hour timer kept counting down so I lost 5 minutes while the mechanic removed pins in the gutter and unjammed the pin setter. Employees will not credit you for lost time due to mechanical malfunctions.Why would I want to return?

While the prices for everything are on the higher end. It was worth it for the experience, its best if you know how to beat the rush. Our waiter was attentive and brought our food and drinks very quickly. The bowling alley was clean and comfortable as well as very fun. And while the noises can be rather loud at times, if you enjoy laser tag then youll enjoy that room. Just be sure to scope out the prices before you make plans.

Great addition to our community! Its already become a favorite family hang out for my teenagers. The food is very good and its so convenient that you can order and be served while you bowl.

The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars was first impressions of the service, it did get better eventually but it took at least 20 mins and us having to ask for a server to get assisted at our lane. Otherwise the prices are fair and the beer is varied. We tried the pizza which was also good

Bowling was fun. The food and drinks a little high prices. Our server was rude. We were barely finished with our game before they rented out the lane to someone else. You have to wait for the server to come back and take your payment for food. So we were left standing around waiting for her even after the girl at the front paged her on her headset.

Great time with the family. Lots of fun for everyone and good food, especially the pizza which was a huge hit! A little pricey but fun for the whole family.

First time there. Great staff. Clean. Will definitely be back. Nice family atmosphere.

4th visit. Everything was satisfactory. However I note the bowling balls are dinged, dented and it is not even a year old business. The food was excellent and service great.

Had lots of fun at the trivia night, only thing I wasnt really fond of was the price of the food.

This place is a lot of fun! There is bowling, lazer tag, an arcade, and a full restaurant with delicious food. The food and laser tag are a bit pricey, but the food is worth it. The waitstaff come to you as you bowl which is really convenient. The bowling prices vary by time of day and are pretty reasonable. I reccomend this place for fun for all ages!

Place looks nice but isnt finished. I must of missed the part about the arcade not being finished. My kids were pretty upset but thats on me. Food was average for such a high price. Food didnt come out together and they brought the entree before the appetizer. I didnt bowl but it seemed to be working as intended. The staff did their best with what they had. I doubt Ill be back here again.

I had a decent time with my family. The only thing is it is very pricey. Making it hard for us to go more than a few times a year. It is suppose to be a family place but it is hard for some families to afford this place. Food was pretty great the grilled chicken sandwich is a must ! Hopefully they will consider adjusting their prices . In Vegas you can have unlimited laser tag for 25 or 30 dollars a person at the adventure dome.

Good customer service. Had to switch lanes 3 times after 6 different issues. Staff was prompt to respond however and was very helpful to get us up and running. Food was good but a little over priced (not horribly), and they have really good options. Management compensated us for our trouble without request which shows that they are standup as well. I will definitely go back as they work out the kinks.

Went to play games and laser tag. Been open since Jan 2019 and still no games. Laser tag was fun but was short lived (10 mins). The poor girl who was the ref was so awkward, I felt bad for her. She was trying to tell us the rules but was all over the place. Idk how long this place is going to stay in business.

Fun bowling, great beer selection. Lots of fun but they really need some vegan options on their menu. They have nothing vegan except fries (the veggie burger isnt vegan.) They keep saying theyre working on it but...I lost faith in their timeline years ago. Itd be nice to be able join our friends there for dinner when we go bowling, but we always have to meet them there afterward. Its getting old.

BEWARE!! They are a bunch of thieves! They will not refund your money!! “It’s against their policy.” They will give you a rain check. This is no good to me because this was a one time event. I want my money back for the games I did not use. Management is not trained properly and can’t handle the general public. Management refused to give me corporates phone number. This is theft.There are no signs posted stating no cash refunds, only in-store credits issued.

Pretty blown away that a place this nice and professional is in such small town. Really exceeded my expectations. The arcade isnt in yet. I know my kids are looking forward to that part of it. Food is good. Bowling Lanes are nice, and the bumpers work great for the kiddos.

Great fun for the whole family. The food and service was outstanding. At this point though please remember they are working through all the bugs. Patience with the machinery is a must at this point.

Lane 1 was down half the timeWent to play laser tag and waited at the door for a group to finish. When they were done we were called in the waiting room then asked to leave and was told that the group behind us was waiting longer.. not to sure how you were waiting longer if you were behind me

It is such an amazing place to go with your family. I went with my youth group and had a blast. It was so much fun and I plan on coming back very soon.

The place is a work in progress. The atmosphere is good, the place is clean, and the staff are helpful. The arcade sign really be covered up until its actually open. The pinsetters require quite a few resets. All in all, not a bad place in town.

Lost a receipt in the back of my wallet that has the name of an outstanding employee at this location. I visited Rocket City around the time of its grand opening and I wanted to recognize an employee there named Tasheema. Her customer service was absolutely fantastic when I dined inside the restaurant there and it had me coming back daily before having to move away from New Mexico.My visit took place a few months ago but I still remember the outstanding experience I had. Thank you Tasheema!

This is by far one of the best places to come and have a good time in Alamogordo. The bowling Lanes def need some work because I have had to have my lane issues fixed multiple times on multiple visits but the Ford is great and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Good place, needs more business. I hope they get it, we need more places like this here in Alamogordo. As well, as better restaurants. Only have a small selection to choose from. Always have to go to Las Cruses or Ruidoso but that due to the city counsel this city has.

The prices are somewhat reasonable...the staff at the front desk was kinda rude. We had issues on lane 18 with the scoring and lane 16 wasnt level...when a ball was about to be a gutter, it would hit the edge and curve back toward the pins. As an avid bowler...this is a huge issue. When the issue was brought to the servers attention, she blamed it on it being a bowling alley in Alamogordo. The bowling alley should be more selective in their hiring process and unscrew their lane issues before taking the customers money. Why would anyone come back to this establishment if the scoring isnt precise and there is no corrective action?Dont waste your money, bowl at Holloman AFB.

Rocket City Family Fun center recently informed me of a new policy. They will be checking bags at the door. Security and manger said this was placed in as of “last week” so that would have mean that new policy was implemented around 2 or 3 of March. I have reviewed there direct web site, facebook and google I have not found any new policy I have seen updates on why establishment wasn’t open ( on set date), change of hours and all other updates. I can’t find anything on a new policy. I did not see any signs in the front of building or signs upon entering....Please help has anyone experienced having there bag checked at the door? Has anyone seen any signs that you will be subject to a bag check upon entering??Any information will be greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance

The Bartender Tuesday is the Best. The taps are awesome. Overall this place has a chill vibe to it. It can be hectic though l because there is really nothing else to do in town.

Fabulous food. Great staff. This is our new go to place to eat. Grandson will be coming here often. Great place to bring the family

We came over to have lunch....it took 15 min to get our order and over 10 min to get our check. I finally got up to pay the bill, since noone was noticing my table was ready to go. Very disappointed on wait time for such minor things.

Very nice facility and friendly staff. Prices are very comparable to other bowling facilities. I would recommend this establishment.

Rating on bowling only, in our 3rd and final round of bowing the machine broke down after every frame. For new machines they should work better than this. I gave 3 starts because they gave us a free game, and a voucher for food.

It was fun and the also seemed busy. The food was a little on the pricey side but fresh and good. We did everything but the arcade because that was not open yet. Bowling was ok but at about 16 minutes left on the game our lane broke down and malfunctioned and we lost 12 minutes for a game we paid for. But overall we had fun experience.

They advertised video games but there arent any. Food was good though.

Dont go on Friday thru Sunday. 25$ an hr plus shoe rental. What is this the PBA....if you can get on Holloman AFB, do that instead. Much more affordable any day and time of the week. I dont see rocket city being open in the future.

We didnt bowl because the wait was an hour long but laser tag was fun. It took a while for the waiter to acknowledge us and even longer for our waters to come out. The food tasted ok but the nachos were $10 and barely had any cheese. Just be aware that its expensive here. The most Ill do at this place is get some beer before the movies.

The actual building closes at 1:00AM but all of the activities to do there stop at 1100PM so there’s no point in even enticing that they are open till 1:00. Don’t come here if you plan on coming after 11:00PM

So far, so good. The lanes look great. The layout is nice and roomy. I think Alamogordo citizens will be thrilled when it opens. That commercial kitchen will be great to work in for the people who get hired.

Would get a better rating but most managers disagree with pro shop or holding tournaments for bowling this company cares about its self most of the time wants to charge every dollar it can too! Some employees go above and beyond though so I grade 3 stars for low level employment i cant stand the snooty attitude of managment lol they get so upset when you ask questions like if we paid for it why cant we have a pro shop our tax dollars paid for that building guys I want customer service and friendlier management!

Great Experience, come play laser tag

Good time tonight. The bowling machinery worked tonight so we were able to play a real game. Last time was very frustrating with mechanical issues..... not tonight. Food was good too.

It was great. We had a good time. We didnt want to leave but the lanes had a wait so we couldnt get any more time on the lane we had which was a super bummer and I had to hang out in the car and parking lot for an hour to come down so I didnt DUI.

Service is okay. You cant open a tab at the bar and carry that to the alley. The seating/eating at the actual lane is awkward if you want to eat and bowl. Everyone on the couch has to get up from eating when its your turn to bowl bc of the awkward seating. Just a pet peeve bc its a little annoying. The arcade still isnt finished. But not bad for the developers and contractors taking this city for a ride and taking its money instead of building this place the way it was supposed to be. 3/5 bc its actually, finally open.

One day I will play a game of bowling where the system dont freeze. Iv been 4 times so far every time the lane froze up for awhile. Maybe its just the first 10 lanes that have issues. Other that n extremely garlic garlic parmesan fries last night. its a good place.

They had started carrying many craft beers and that includes 6 IPAs. The calimari appetizer is very good, and favorite pizza is the Philly cheese steak pizza. Very good.

Closing the bar early is a good way to lose business

Extremely overpriced. $30 for a large cheese and large pepperoni. Tasted off and way to greasy. Pepperoni had maybe 10 slices on the whole thing. Bait and switched for a game of bowling. Prices were not displayed and when we asked were told 15 mins and $25. 35 minutes later was charged $38. For a brand new location the lane consistently wouldnt set even 50% of the pins...save your money and go elsewhere.
