This is a beautiful mansion and well worth the trip. The only downside is there were too many people to really see everything in its glory.
Only 4 stars because the AAT shirts only were in size small .Bur a memorable place .
This historic home belonged to the Seiberling family who were co-founders of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. There is so much to see and do here that I would plan to spend a few hours. They do several different guided tours of the home and the grounds, there is a greenhouse, play area for young ones, a café and gift shop. Plus, on Sunday’s you can take your dog for Woof Walks, a neat concept. The guided tours are definitely worth it—there’s a new theme each year and tons of new information that is provided by knowledge guides. You might not think so, but this is a place that deserves repeat visits throughout their season (April-December). And, if you don’t want to eat at their café then pack a picnic lunch.
This place keeps getting better and better as a child I remember when my mother used to be on the womans board to save Stan Hywet
Walk the yard, Gardens, and house for an excellent experience.
