Lots of fun and our staff member (Sorry, I forgot his name) was very helpful before, during and after. Great way to spend a Friday night with friends or family.

AMAZING staff and time spent with my friends. The staff member was very nice, helpful, informative, and overall energetic. Luckily my friends and I were able to escape the room. It is an excellent level of difficulty and challenge but the staff really set Locked In at the Lakes Escape Room separate from other escape rooms I have been to.

Apparently they host changed management, and whatever they are doing is working. The staff was friendly and the room was one of the best I’ve done. Thanks guys!

Had a great time but got stuck on a clue because half of it was missing out of the room even the host verified it was gone. Kinda ruined it felt like we should have gotten a discount or a coupon to come back.

Really enjoyed it! A lot harder than I imagined, but easy enough to keep you engaged. So many details twists and turns. Would be great for work groups, bachelorette/bachelor parties, or even just friend groups. Such a fun change from just the normal get together.

Before corona time I tried to schedule for our group. The person I communicated with was very rude and seemed like they did not like their job. Safe to say we went to another establishment and had the best time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I just turned 14, and we went here for my birthday. It was very fun and exciting! I had a group of 7 (my parents and friends). We escaped..... but barely! Our time was 59 minutes and 36 seconds! It was just the perfect blend of difficulty! We did the 8ighth house, and it was themed very well! The room is well decorated, and has a good atmosphere. It wasn’t super scary, but it definitely can give you chills. All in all, it was very fun, and I’d recommend this experience to anyone! For our group, everyone played their own role, and everyone helped do something, so it’s important to be good friends with your group. It felt very intense, especially at the end, but we all loved it. I’d recommend to anyone!

My friends and I have been here twice now and did both of the rooms that they have currently (Ship Happens and 8ighth House). As a group of 6, we were able to finish both of these in time - BUT was it a challenge! Ship Happens was definitely more difficult than 8ighth House. We ended up asking for clues in Ship Happens even though we did this room second.We did 8ighth House on Dec 27, 2019, and Ship Happens on Jan 24, 2020. Both times, the staff was incredibly nice! I cant remember if it was the owner that was there the first time, but he was super nice! The girls that we met were super friendly as well.Pricing is very reasonable. Before we booked, we expected to pay 30+ a person for each room. The rooms are $22 a person before taxes! We were so surprised! And for the difficulty and quality of the rooms, the price was perfect!Love Locked in at the Lakes! We all cant wait until they get a new room to try! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time with friends.

This is one of the best escape rooms Ive ever done! The rooms are well-themed, and the puzzles were challenging and interesting. We finished one room and turned right back around to try the other. I could not recommend more highly!

I was part of the group in the previous mentioned review. Our visit was to be in January. Not sure if we talked to the owner or another employee but from his terrible response I would be unhappy working for him too. We ended up at Escape Room Cleveland and I can not say enough great things about them.

Been to a few different escape rooms. This on is just fun. Puzzles are challenging for sure. Kind of laid back and good atmosphere. Really appreciate the casual feeling of the place. Good food all around and REALLY GREAT PRICES HERE!!

We had a chance to do the Saving Christmas room this weekend while our sons were visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a lot of fun. It was great to do somewhere where the five of us could all work together and everyone was involved and really enjoyed it. The puzzles and clues were fun and well thought out. There were five of us. Our kids range in age from 14-25 and we have done a few escape rooms before. We were able to save Christmas but it did take 41 mins so it is not too easy. We thought the difficulty level was just right. Thanks so much! We look forward to trying another room in the near future!

This place was great!!!!! Its not too big so its not overwhelming. Very well put together and well thought out. Had a great time with my wife and two teenage daughters. We will be going back to try the Christmas room next. And the guy running the place had a dog there!!!! Super bonus for heckin good boy!!!!

Awesome place to go on a date or with a group. Even as a work function to promote team work. The prices are very reasonable and the owner is very accommodating and friendly. He is always updating the rooms and changing the themes with the season. I would suggest this place to anyone!

We played the The 8ighth House and had a blast! We are already planning our next visit so we can try the other room!

The rooms were challenging, but in a clean, satisfying way that other escape rooms often miss with convoluted clues. The christmas room is so cute and creative. The eighth house is a great room too. The staff is the best weve had from over 30 escape rooms.

What a cool place!! We were looking for a group activity and this was the best place we could have ever picked. My out of town guests had SO much fun doing this. We will come back for sure!!

After our daughter and her college roommates tried this, we couldnt resist! My husband and I had a very fun date night, joined by 3 other couples!!! How creative and fun! Got us up and moving! This business is so fun and fantastically run! We went with a group of 13 year olds for my sons birthday. Prior to our reservation, the owner spoke with me on two different occasions, helping me plan our trip. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and given clear instructions. The room itself was so fun! It was challenging and interesting. There were a couple little things added for my son for his birthday which I thought were really nice touches:) The business was clean, easy to find and had affordable rates besides being completely fun! We will be returning with a different group to attempt the other room and I highly recommend everyone to try it!

This was a lot of fun! We did the Santa Escape room. The girl out front was very friendly, helpful, & very outgoing.

The bookings here are all private. So, you dont have to worry about that awkwardness of working with strangers. The room we chose was challenging, with a mix of very fun holiday themed puzzles. The staff was personable and attentive. Also right on time whenever we needed a clue. In summation, we had a blast and this is a solid location.

This place was so much fun! My Girlfriend and I just so happened to end up being in a group by ourselves, which may or may not have been as fun with 6 other people- Im not sure, but either way, It was a blast solving the puzzles! We would both would recommend Locked In at the Lakes, and cant wait for a new room to open up!

Really fun experience. There were only 4 of us, which I think was perfect, and we had a great time working through the puzzles in the room. And Kelsey, the owner, was great. We will definitely go back when she gets the second room open.

We did The Legend of Turkeyfoot Pointe with a group of six people. This was our first escape room all together, but some of us had done escape rooms individually.We did escape!! There was quite a bit of hunting for clues and solving puzzles, some of which were easy, and some were challenging. But all in all the room was a fun activity! The people running the place are very nice and really get into the process of you escaping along with you, which makes the challenge more unique!

Cannot recommend this place enough. I loved the fact that this was a small business owned by a younger couple who was very nice (: the puzzles were challenging and we completed with only 5 minutes to spare, but they were not impossible by any means because they will give you hints upon request. Just such a pleasent experience all around 11/10 best day ever.

We had a blast doing The 8ighth House escape. The puzzles were excellently balanced; challenging but not impossible. The atmosphere was great and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

Such a great place to host a team building exercise. Came with my softball and volleyball team for both rooms and it was a blast!! Highly recommend and the staff was great!!

Took my 15 year old daughter and friends to the Escape room for her birthday. They had a blast. Staff monitored their progress closely and provided hints/clues at just the right times to keep them engaged and having fun the entire hour. The additional hidden birthday messages and cupcakes were a nice, unexpected surpirse.

The puzzles were challenging but possible. I highly reccomend this place to everyone!! It requires lots of teamwork & is great for date night or just with friends. I love how they incorporated Portage Lakes into the mystery that you solve. :)

My college roommates and I went to locked in at the lakes for something fun and challenging! We were tired of just sitting in dorms watching tv and sitting on our phones during spare time! This was exciting and had us working together on unordinary things! Very cool experience! Highly recommend !
