A nice wide beach with a huge parking lot. The beach is a good spot for beautiful sunsets. Several picnic tables with roofs for shade and rain. We got caught in the rain one day but it was not a problem. It could use some garbage bins emptied because it seems like no one cleaned up on the few times we went.
This is a really good place to spend a simple day out with your friends and/or family. It has a wonderful Thai restaurant within the premises. Ample parking. It also has a few gazebos with sitting space and a table just in case you want to have a few things to eat, drink or even just to play some dominoes. There arent a lot of gazebos so you might also want to bring a few beach chairs and umbrellas; since shade is also a bit scarce. They do however have a few movable goal nets in place, just in case anyone wants to take a football (soccer ball) to play. There are also a few shower heads to rinse off the sand. One down side at this precise moment is the lack of bathrooms. However sand is not coarse but rather fine and light in color. There is some bird activity, you are likely to see pelicans and possibly some sandpipers earlier in the day or later in the afternoon. You will also likely be wowed by an amazing sunset at sundown.Despite all previously mentioned if you are looking for something thats a bit more nightlife oriented, there is a bar that is walking distance, Olajas, no more than a few minutes away on foot; as well as the DJs that go play at the beach every other weekend.
Excellent beach and near restaurants
Went on a Tuesday. No bathrooms open, only bar/food a ways down the beach. HOPEFULLY the reason there was so much trash on beach (literally plastics) was because of recent storms. Not sure why no bathrooms. Probably good on weekends. View was amazing.
Thia food, good eats. Very Romantic restaurant. $5 Martins open for dinner, great place to enjoy the view of the beach. Nice dinning room table to enjoy a quiet evening with friends and family.
Its a nice beach but not what it use to be. Theres a good restaurant to eat though there.
Nice, love it!!️
Seems like a great beach, went very early... water was clear and inviting... However, by early afternoon was filled with brownish n greenish stuff... had to leave :( Also, this beach is very solitary....
I was in Ode to the elephants and the food was tasty but the service not so good. Martinis were good.
Beautiful, not busy at all. Gazebos with outlets. Showers and bathrooms.... perfect!! I dont know what else you could possibly want or need from a public beach. Free parking, many spaces available.
Good place to walk by the beach! Very quiet place.
Been coming here for years. Its a quiet beach.
Great place
Very nice beach if you dont mind the Rocky bottom. Has showers and bathroom
Its a big beach with nice waters and many shells for collectors
One of the worst beaches in Puerto Rico. The water is murky, it gets deep fast and it has a river mouth that sporadically spews dirty water into the beach. Youll be better off going to Aguadilla or Rincon. I gave it 2 stars because even though it is one of the worst in PR, it would beat the best beaches of some countries...
Nice public beach with plenty of shaded tree areas. Has working outdoor showers.
Great for a family outing to the beach. Beware of the rocks. This beach is very rocky and isnt really good for swimming or snorkeling. But it has public bathrooms and showers. The best part are the little casitas huts....they help keep the sun off of you and are free. First come first served. Plus the casitas have electrical outlets to plug ur phone or speakers.....this beach is not crowded and not very popular with the kids so its laid back. Close to a bar/restaurant that you can walk to if u want a drink or some food. If you like to people watch or want to really party at the beach.....this is not the place....Go to Crashboat, Pargue Colon or Jobos in the Aguadilla area.
Beautiful beach and if you go late noone is usually there.
Great public beach... Ode Restaurant, Ojalas, and many more great restaurants on this strip in Aguada, PR.
Beautiful beach, low waves, great for families with children. The only thing is upon entering the water there are small pebbles, shells etc. and a small dip. They have gazebos and we didnt pay an entrance or parking fee. Theres also a bar/restaurant with great views of the ocean.
Beautiful beach to bathe in and watch the sunset.
It ok you need to know how to swin
Great Beach... We visit here about once a week...
Could be a bit cleaner.
Nice beach no sanitary service, visited on premises a related to elephants, but the mixes for your spirits very special.
Nice beach with a restaurant nearby. You an see the river flowing into the sea if you walk alongside the beach for a couple of minutes. Pelicans flying past, beautiful place.
Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Good restaurants around.
Its fun but water sucks
Its good to be with the family, its clean and there is kiosks to buy food and drinks
Lovely...
The town has to do some maintenance on the gazebos, showers and take debris off the beach.
U can go with your families and have fun
It could be nicer if theyd give it some maintenance
Because it is a gorgeous beach close to my house
Amazing
Great beach not crowded and clean. Want something to drink right next to the beach you have olajas open bar.
Its a quiet place to have a nice time taking to your friends while hearing the waves.
The water is not as clear, but beach is clean and is family oriented. Go during weekdays because it tends to be super crowded on weekends
Clean beach with many small shelters, each have a table and a bench. Parking is just along the road. Convenient, free, and clean.
Nice spot, more private than others. It has THE BEST THAI FOOD AT ODE TO THE ELEPHANT
Beach nice but not good to swim
Excellent sea view. Family oriented. Near restaurants, gas station, pharmacy, etc.
Great food down the road. Beautiful beach.
Beautiful sunsets. The beach had the bathrooms closed and in bad shape. There is a Thai rest here, but didnt ate. The beach hasnt have the amount of trash that other puertorican beaches have. Very little shore. Waters are on the moderate side, so if you have kids; watch them all the time.
All the walk way is pretty. There are a lot of different restaurants but my favorite is Aloha and El Galeon.
Good place to spend time at the beach with your family. Also have olajas nearby! For a good mojito
Its a nice beach. But the place needs some care, there is not electricity to connect anything, the ilumination is poor. The place is always full of people, so I suggest to go and enjoy as early as possible. Good parking too and it has a bar outise the beach that is nice to go and share with friends.
Beautiful view and a lot of restaurants
Not good. This beach is suffering from serious erossion. There is less sand and the water edge arriving at a distance of 21 feet to the nearest gazebo.
Love this place ..the fact its hardly people quiet and water is great no rocks,no waves see through water.Just be careful and look out for smallcatfish or small sharks.which I stood with my boys around the edge .
Very nice place to have some special dinner and drinks
Great place for be a life. Sunset from Aguada Puerto 2
Great views bathing food venders and drink and food, outdoors service.
Great place to visit Ode de Elephants, other beach bar Olaes
This beach is beautiful ! Outlets everywhere too so I can charge all my stuff ! Nice
The water is not as cleae but parking is free. The shelters with tables and electricity are also free
Beautiful.
Nice beach. No reefs. Free showers.
Very Nice
Relax, Secure with Peace
Kool
Not well illuminated. Beach is in bad condition all year around. Not Maintenance at all.
Good place
So beautiful place to be
Beautiful beach
Lots of parking space and dining options nearby, only downside is that sea is not always fit for recreation
Find but need more maintenance
