The Splash Pad at Addison Community Park. Is very nice for the childrens.

Addison township has to be run by a bunch of idiots.Why would they close the pool down? The pool was always busy. There was nothing wrong the facility. It was affordable for lower income families. They never explained why the pool shut down. I assume they needed to close it down to line someones pockets. The only thing I can think of is Addison government is full of bureaucratic dip sticks who care nothing about the people. Thank you

Signed up my sons for Sports Camp. Perfect weather outside, instead of playing sports, they watch TV inside. No basketball, no volleyball, no soccer, no baseball. I wonder why it is called Sports camp

Our oldest little had a karate tournament here in the beginning of march. The gym is a pretty good size and I like how they have the seating up above. I also enjoyed that it was located so close to our home so it wasnt too far of a ride for us to make the tournament. I dont remember interacting with any of the park district staff, only Kids karate club. I only have 2 complaints. Is was the first time we had the tournament in this location. That being said there was only one entrance and it took forever to get in, pay and find a seat. Besides that, there was a issue in the bathroom with the toilets/sewer. Someone flushed the toilet and the floor drain started spitting out water all over the floor. It was pretty gross.

Addison has some teally good activites for family splash oad was awesome so is their music nights on Thursdays

Went there for a wrestling event. The restrooms were disgusting.

Free pancake breakfast (donations accepted) and an Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones. Lots of activities and decent playgrounds. Its a shame they closed the pool forever though.
