The Tyler Grace team is awesome. They worked with our crazy circumstances, flexed when needed and executed an amazing sale.We have used them twice for a family estate sale and a ministry event. They have an amazing database of buyers who show up in mass to bid on items which increases your profits. As well, they know how to bundle items to gain the maximum value for your sale.I Highly recommend them!
Purposefully deceitful / fraudulent.Read their registered to bid message. Youll ask yourself why they need to be so aggressive and defensive. Then do business with them and find out. While I had good experiences with pickup at the central location, I had terrible experiences with the in-home estate sales. This last one - one lot wasnt even there. When I finally asked about it, I was told that the owners took it. The house wreaked of ammonia and was covered in hair, urine, and feces. Auctioned items were soaked in cat urine. Everything from the house had a yellow greasy/slimey slick on it.Attached: one of the rooms the things I bid on were in. The floor was saturated with urine, feces, and what looked like blood.Take a look at the zoomed in shots. The blankets I won were not only covered in cat hair, but feces from insects, tho from fleas or cockroaches, I dont know. Magazines and papers and totes were urine-stained. While I understand the as is/where is policy, bidders still bid in good faith of 2 things: that what they are buying is not a health hazard and that they are useable in some way. After selling me urine-soaked, cat-hair covered items and some of the items being MIA, I fully expected given Amandas maturity level to not get reimbursed for the items or the 18% buying premium, but I was not refunded for the items that the owners took, and charged 100$ for leaving behind things that would have had me dying in my car. I am allergic to cats. THIS IS FRAUD. I am taking this up with the credit card company, the BBB, and HiBid.Re: owners reply:I was on site and have 1st hand experience with what happened. When I arrived both nights, items were not prepared, even tho advanced notice was given. Night 1 - The 5.15 is per text (see image); I ended up getting there before then; my GPS confirms this. I worked with the homeowner to disconnect the electric to a hanging light. I then chatted with him for about an hour - I was not aware of any requirement of the auction person needing to remain - about his experiences in China, Japan, and Europe. We talked about his company, his trips abroad, his recommendations on where to go. He was absolutely fascinating to talk with. Had someone told me that the girl from TG couldnt leave until I did, I would have wrapped up the conversation and left, but no one did.Night 2 - I had to go through this disgusting house to find the items. The things in trash bags are actually won lots also left behind. There were 2 employees on site, and they made a point of not helping me. I struggled with a table for literally 45 minutes while they made fun of me. Insulting, abrasive, but at that point, what do you do you but try to get through it? Another bidder helped me, but her arms immediately broke out in a rash - shes more allergic to cats that I am - and left. One of the girls on site actually laughed at her. It was such a bizarre, hateful response that I decided to say as little to them as possible. They eventually threw everything out in the yard. Instead of going through it to determine what was salvageable, it was all tossed out, then they went into the house and closed and locked the door.I believe, given the business owners response to legitimate complaints of deceptive and fraudulent activities consisting of name calling, combined with previous reviews of this company and BBB profile, that a reader can determine what to expect in any future dealings. As to retaliating, why in the world would I give money to a company that just sold me a bunch of urine soaked, feces covered items? I would never, in a million years, do business with this company again. Most mature adults arent motivated by vindictive behavior; it doesnt even cross their minds. I am simply warning others so that they dont have to experience what I went through. I would not wish what I encountered on anyone just trying to do some fun online bidding. As to the pictures, they were not cherry picked as stated. This was 1 room; if this room looked like this, what do you think the other rooms looked like?
You can get some really great deals from Tyler Grace Auctions and the online auction process is really easy but be careful. The pictures they take of the items for sale can be very misleading and you may not be able to pick up the items you have won. For one auction I went to pick up some picture frames and a vintage bowl. The workers who were helping me with my stuff had accidentally given the picture frames to someone else. She said that I could be refunded or they could call the person who had them to bring them back. I didnt want to inconvenience someone else over a $2 box of picture frames so I just accepted the refund. The vintage bowl had many stained chips in the glaze that I didnt recall seeing in the pictures. When I went home I checked the photos that were posted and compared them to the true condition of the bowl. The damage to the inside of the bowl was covered up by the photographers hand (as pictured below). At first I thought the hand in the photo was just for a size comparison but now it seems intentionally placed to cover up the damage. I sent a message about my concerns to the seller four days ago but havent had any reply. I know that nothing from an estate sale auction will be in perfect condition but in this case it seems that the seller went out of the way to hide the damage. I probably would have still bid on the item if the pictures were honest but I certainly wouldnt have bid $21 for a bowl with that kind of damage. The first and third picture are ones I took, the second one is the sellers picture.Edit: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 because of the disrespectful reply from the owner. Unsurprisingly, I have been blocked from making any future bids. I have uploaded the other 3 pictures that the owner is accusing me of leaving out they show primarily the outside and bottom and show none of the damage to the bottom, inside of the bowl. This is why is didnt include them at first because I have no complaints about the condition of the outside. I also want to point out that I tried to remedy this by messaging management four days prior to writing my review. I gave the owners an opportunity to talk with me about my concerns but they chose to ignore my message.Pictured below are:1. My picture of the inside the bowl2. The sellers picture of the inside of the bowl3. My picture of the inside of the bowl with different lighting4-6. The sellers other pictures of the bottom and side of the bowl7. The sellers response to my original review
Once again thank you for sending my order. Great service. One thing I can say is Missy ships and packages VERY WELL! If they sod eggs at a good price. I would buy them from her and have them shipped knowing it will arrive safely. Thanks again
SELLERS BEWARE! I signed a contract to pack and pick up my items after being told that they no longer did in-Home auctions. I was not told this by Amanda in the initial consultation. The movers came to my house and after spending a total over 2days of 3 1/2 hours, I was told by Zoey that they would not honor the completion of the contract but would charge the higher commission rate on what they did pick up. The moving team was careless with the furniture and put deep scratches in antiques. Once the items made it to the warehouse many nice items were missing and never auctioned off. I was told some jewelry was put in storage by mistake without telling the owners. When trying to get an explanation, I was treated by Zoey with rude and insulting manner and was hung up on. My items were actually auctioned off over a period of three weeks and were scattered among other auctions. Zoey always denied any wrongdoing and customer service was non- existent. Although this can only be written off as a very bad experience, I only regret that I didn’t give my items to charity to be enjoyed by others who would appreciate it. I am thankful I did not entrust my entire houseful of items to be auctioned off.
Bought a nice Rolex Day- Date watch... was as pictured and authentic. Very professional and delivered promptly.
I was the winning bidder on three lots of clothing. My total was over $400. There was no preview due to the pandemic. I have purchased from other auctions for years and flaws are always stated in the listing. Got the clothing home and 75% of the items are stained and unusable. Very disappointed. Listing should have stated the clothes were not in good condition. I will not be back.
I was bidding in this auction on items that required shipping. I was able to communicate with them beforehand and after and everything went better than I expected. They found the best way to have the item sent and communicated with me throughout the process. It was a fantastic experience
This place is a joke. I took them over $3,000 worth of Praise merchandise and they cut me a check for $111.00 after their so-called auction. The staff were very rude and unprofessional. Stay away from this place. Worst business of its kind that Ive ever come across. Complete trash.
I have used this auction service a dozen times and have always had the best experience. They have always worked with me for pick ups and without me even asking combined shipping when I bought from auctions on different days. I really have been impressed with their service
There is a reason this Auction company has so few Stars. There are many other companies that will treat their clients so much better, both buyers and sellers. Their pictures are terrible, the descriptions even worse. The,want to be lady, that runs the company is extremely rude and spiteful. She even threatened me! I waited over 2 and a half hours at one place to get the items I won, the 3 people who were trying to get our items were not at all organized, and only one of them were trying, the other 2 were to busy playing on their phones. This company does have one great asset and that is Amanda, who knows how to treat people. They say they always have their clients best interest at heart but from my observations they only have their own interests at heart. With better pictures and descriptions the items would sell for more and make more people interested. Talk to other companies before you consider this one. The 15 year old son she speaks of is a rude, spoiled want to be tough guy, that is more interested in playing on his phone than taking care of customers.
I have purchased many times and always picked up my items as stated. However today, I was told by Hospice that my 87 year old father had taken a turn and could go at any time. Someone named Tyler, who was very threatening and rude said that was not his problem and gave me a short amount of time to get my stuff picked up or he would throw in dumpster and charge my card an extra 200. I am over 2 hours away and was not going to leave my father. I have now been blocked from ever bidding on their site and was told good riddance. So cold hearted.
It was my first time doing an Auction online I made a bid and I should win that bid it closed with my last bid I went to pick it up from this location at the time that the told me about, when I went there they told me that another one win that bid.Really bad experience and I won’t recommend it to anyone
They’re fast and really friendly staff to work with when you pick up your stuff, just love them
I always have a such a pleasant experience with Tyler grace auctions. Absolutely recommend them!
Love these guys! Great customer service and in-house shipping!
If I could give them zero, I would. I won my bid and showed up well before the pick up time. I waited patiently for 25 mins before asking how much longer until I could get the ONE item Id won. The thin girl TOLD me, not asked, to get back into car. Not sure how my placement would get me my stuff any sooner, but digress. She then walked into the middle of the street and hollered that they wouldnt wait on me, I would get a refund and then be banned from their future auctions. Then she called the cops who were there in less than 5 mins. After the air cleared I gave them the ladder back and am waiting for my refund. what an experience!!Now, a month later, Beckys response is to threaten me by pressing charges. If there was cause at the time, I am sure I wouldve bee arrested then. But then again, I guess I shouldnt be surprised that Becky/Karen would call the cops on an African American UNNECESSARILY!!
I LOVE THIS AUCTION! Bidding is easy, I’ve found the coolest stuff! Tip: wait until after the opening rush to pick up. Also, everyone I’ve met are friendly and helpful. Reading some of the reviews I can see how there may be mix-ups occassionally, they are BUSY. I follow the guidelines and have had no issues. I won the bidding on the hugest lot of clothes in my size and To my surprise it turns out I LOVE most of them. This lot was bigger than the photo showed so thank goodness I have an SUV! As a Realtor, I know full well it’s difficult for photos to tell size sometimes. This Auction house invites you to come see items before bidding which is super. I just take my chances as most everything I have bought was as it appears. I did buy a santa that I thought was bigger and it turned out to be smaller than It was! It was a fun joke this Christmas and a fun story to tell. LIFE IS QUIRKY THAT WAY SOMETIMES. No ones fault.
So kind and helpful. So appreciated. Thank you guys so much!!!
I’ve now been purchasing from Tyler Grace Auctions for the past 2 to 3 months. I’ve spent somewhere in the neighborhood of a couple thousand dollars on various items in a handful of their auctions. Every item was as described (or as pictured as the case may be). The folks with TGA are courteous and honest, and they promptly respond to questions and are very good about having your items ready and available for you at the time of pick-up. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. I highly recommend TGA, and I will undoubtably continue to do business with them in the future.
Same happens to me, They forfeited my items. For $ 70 only ... really, they take my money and items. Because Im traveling, I just came back. I prefer to donate to people in need, rather than conscienceless sellers. Their approach is extremely immoral. Even if I didnt pick up the goods on time, you should have a way for me to get my belongings. They dont give you affection.I forgot to tell you that these lots are from my friends. I will tell him about it.Stay away.
Great experience. Im out in California and the staff took great care of me, making sure my item was properly shipped in the most cost effective way. Thank you!
Excellent item and great customer service. Ship quickly and very happy with my item. Thank you very much
These people are dishonest. They were recommended to me but my experience left a bad taste. The were deceptive and I do not feel I received a fair price for my items. They are not responsive either. Do not let their veteran status sway you.
Buyers beware The owner had authorized a delayed pickup for my items but then when I arrived on the date that we had agreed that I could pick up items the person in charge of Angela was rude and said the items had been forfeited and rescheduled to be auctioned again wow what a scam be careful. They knew what time I was able to pick up items and they processed my credit card any out and then blocked me from receiving my items when they were there in with plenty of room right near the front door wow just wow. Horrible service, dangerous, cutthroat, dishonest and rude place .
Love the auctions! It is so fun to see what is coming up. Staff is fun and friendly. Recently won my first item. I was like a kid in a candy store- giddy!!
Incredibely slow service. Multiple lots were stolen. Items incorrectly described. Prices are higher than other auction houses. Business is completely mismanaged. After my personal experience, reading others reviews, and reading the owners mean, condescending, and childish replies, I will not be back. First time and last time shopping here.Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other auction houses in DFW. Youll be much happier that you did.
This is the second time we’ve bought from Tyler Grace Auctions. They are not honest in their listings and it seems they sell a bunch of junk. Looks great in the pics, but you find out when you pick up that the tile was damaged, pieces missing (not revealed in listing), or that the item was a mini version. Not only was I unhappy, but when we picked up our items, a woman was asking to speak to the manager because they essentially sold her a box with nothing in it. You get me once, shame on you; get me twice, shame on me. They won’t get me a third time.
They were very unprofessional misrepresented the item I bought and said they didnt have time to talk and they were RUDE. Buyer beware
I have both bought (many times!), and sold (3 times) with Tyler Grace. I have never had a bad experience. They are knowledgeable, and easy to work with. All around great team.
The owners have been super helpful to me. I have gotten appraisals and checked out online auctions. I cant wait till the next time I am in the area for more sales and plan to bid on auctions next time I am in the area and able to pick up.
The owner threatened to have me arrested if iI stepped on her property to return a painting.I paid over $400 and when I picked it up it had a recent undisclosed tear! What a rip off. This company has ethics issues. BEWARE!
Terrible place to do business. Stay away. They steal your money. They put wrong items in your boxes when you pick up. Your better off having a garage sale and donating the rest to charity or homeless. They never admit doing anything wrong .Companies, People screwup just admit it. No one or company is perfect.Take care of customer no matter what. You will probably see a long comment from them which will be a total lie. No customer service. They try to defend themselves which looks even worse for them.Beware
Great first time experience here! Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you and I highly recommend them.
I buy from auctions all over the US, seldom have I seen more misrepresented goods. I stopped buying after being cheated but received an email stating they were under new management. They are not, same rude, snotty owner. I would NEVER have bid again knowing it was the same old, bitter woman. Now I know...and though they’ve had my money for weeks they will not refund in cash...hmmm...we shall see if I have to dispute with my bank. In any case, from past dealings with this woman I know, pictures are misleading and descriptions are minimal and misleading at best. Steer clear!
Spent about 100. And get a bunch of trash items. They dont have description, only picture. Even picture are very misleading, if not intentionally. One item they put along with others in the picture i assume it is whole lot. So i keep increasing the price until i win. But the actual value probably is less than 1/10 of the bidding price. Since it is online only how do you know they dont manipulate the process?
My wife and I love this place. We love chatting with all of the friendly staff when we pick up items every Sunday. They are all funny and friendly every week. They know everyone by name and are quick to put your winnings together carefully. To those who bash them for not getting enough money by selling through the site: Its an auction! They cannot make someone bid more for your best up old couch that your grandma paid $500 for back in 1940. Its still a 78 year old couch, people. As a buyer, you can and do get some great deals here and you can just bid online instead of being there live. Highly highly recommended.
Love this place! Always finding cool items. Team is always courteous and helpful!!
My wife and I have been doing business with these fine folks for over 2 years. Always have had a great experience. Professional, friendly and always helpful. Highly recommended. Great staff.
I Did a few deliveries for them in the past and had a great experience. I still occasionally visit to pick up for a few customers of mine. I am always greeted well, and have not had a poor experience with them in 3 years of business. I recommend.
If you havent been to the auction house what are you waiting for? they have tons of stuff for everyone. The staff there is AMAZING fast and friendly... very knowledgeable and helpful...
TGA offers a service, a very nice service for the area. This applies to buying & selling. (5 STAR)Unfortunately, they have become A LOT more limiting to work with. (I do think a part is to allow them to handle so many items.) I do & have highly recommended them to others, BUT I HAVE to also give a strong warning. YOU MUST FIT THEIR (1-Day) NARROW PICKUP SCHEDULE, OR you should NOT bid on their site. (-1 Star)Again, TGA does offer a great service that is hard to find. I think they offer a broader chance for items to sell. On the other side, & unfortunately, they dont always take enough pictures to give you a complete feel for the condition of the items. When there arent enough pictures to give you a full & complete snapshot of the item & its quality, you might end up with the perfect item... OR it might really be a disappointment. They do not often give a description of the item beyond the title. NO ADDED STATEMENT OF ITEM CONDITION, NO PICTURE OF FLAWS. (including damage to the item). (-1 Star)That could be ESPECIALLY critical when it applies to ONLINE ONLY - ESTATE SALES, w/ no hands on preview available..(-.5 Star)Granted, TGAs JOB is to sell the items, but then again you dont want to pay for something that isnt in an acceptable condition.A minor but current example of not enough detailed pictures: magnalite pot w/ lid pictured from directly above showing the top of the lid, and the bottom surface of the pot to show the maker info... But no actual view of the physical stewpot exterior, interior, or profile. You could determine the pot diameter (imprinted on the btm), but not the capacity, depth of the pot or its surface condition. Not major issue, but a big unknown. On a more personal note the staff personally can be really nice, but then they are VERY unforgiving. The bulk of my positive interactions are actually from a couple years ago. Unfortunately my recent problem actually stemmed from their not liking a previous review (that I had no knowledge of) that was made by my mother-in-law. So current... my winning bid to help my son get a replacement dorm fridge, was revoked. I hadnt known about the review. I didnt know they had decided to ban me. I gave my full name, when I registered for this auction. I wasnt trying to hide or get away with anything.I HAD stopped buying from their site 2 years ago because I had personally objected to a couple of their policy changes, and no longer wanted to work within that limitation. (Especially their change of pickup policy to: p/u on time, or we get to resell the item & get to keep your money too rule.)It is their choice as to who they are willing to work with & who they are willing sell to.It was also unnecessary to ban relatives, because they didnt like a review.-------Everyone has their own limits, and as long as you are aware of & willing to work within their policy rigidity, then you know where you stand. As you can see above, I didnt mark the stars based upon my current interaction. I marked the stars based upon the current limitations of the site & their policies. I did enjoy working with them for almost 2 years, so I truly hope they can improve so that more people can happily benefit. They do have a nice extended family that we had truly enjoyed meeting, and working with.
Very knowledgeable and helpful.. Amazing staff... Definitely recommend them!!
I have known these fine folks for years and even purchased from them. They are Veterans and take care of the people and families they serve. There are no better auctioneers, business people or just genuinely good people in the Dallas area than them.
Tyler Grace has become an important part of our small business and personally too. We look forward to Sat Nights, meeting up with new friends and getting great deals. You never know what youll see. Jay is an entertaining and professional auctioneer, we just love him. The whole Staff is great. They make us feel like family. We recently used them to consign some items as well and it was a very prompt, easy experience. Highly recommend that you give them a try on a Saturday night.
Great first time experience here! Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you and we highly recommend using them.
Tyler Grace Auctions is the Best Auction House I have EVER dealt with. They exuberate Compassion, Service and Authenticity. Many have tried to duplicate thier business model, but cannot achieve thier level of Customer Satisfaction. Bare None, the BEST Auction House in DFW.
I have been doing this auction for years! I wont lie their live auction was the best but when they went online it turned into a junk sale. Granted they have a few things that come through that are nice. But my past few experiences have been horrible. The first time was I bought something and they had it at another location. I am a busy person and rushed out to the auction house to pick up my things (what I am used to doing) they told me that it was at another location and it was to bad I didnt get there in time so they were re possessing my things. I was frustrated because this was all new ( the different locations) and I was out 40 bucks. So I let it go, a few weeks passed and I saw a fan. Its extremely hot outside and I was buying it for someone else. I do not have the time to go to the auction house to look at thing. I work all week open to close (6:30- 7pm) and have no time on the weekends so I trust that they wouldnt put things in the auction that do not work. So I win the bid. I go pick it up and plug it in and it doesnt work! Great another 35 bucks just gave away for something I cant use. Yes I am frustrated (like anyone would be) and I text one of the auctioneer men ( idk who it is) they claim I was being rude and they dont deal with rude people ( me being upset because this is the second time I have just gave them money.... Im not a millionaire) they continued to be rude back and tell me that I would get nowhere with people with the rude attitude. Mind you they were not so nice either. They text me back and told me that they were blocking my number ( which is fine) then blocked me from the whole online sale and said I was banned ( which is fine again). All I ask is honestly and understanding. Because if the shoe was on the other foot and they were giving money away and the other person say oh well they would get upset too. The funny thing is, it wasnt anger it was frustration. Buyers be aware.
Love this place and the people there... absolutely recommend them
Love their sales! Always helpful.
This is in response to your feedback. Perhaps, if the auction in question, had charged my card on file and shipped it like most other auction site do, there would not have been an issue. Perhaps, if the emails sent, had not gone to junk mail, there would not have been an issue. But there were issues, and I was banned or low balled on HI-bid for something that was under $30 that should have been billed and shipped.I have never attended your Saturday auction. I had, over the years, bid on several online auctions you were providing and won several things without any issues before Hi-bid. Then the issue started. My bids were first accepted then, at the end of the auction, my bids had been pulled. I had a card on file. I called during one auction several times with no response after my bids were not accepted. . That is where the rating came from, you not returning phone calls.
Wonderful auction house!!Always professional and kind. I love that I can pick up on mondays and tuesdays, after a busy weekend.5-star location!!
Amazing auction house! I had an antique furniture piece that another place said I would be fortunate to get the moving costs, for. TylerGrace said it would sell really well, but I was sceptical thanks to my previous experience. Long story short, they got several hundred more $$$ than I/they expected! I would absolutely sell with them again, and even shop from them as they only take quality items.
Had to delete the original review due to the unprofessional and petty response from the owner(s). All I can say is, avoid this place!
Avoid this place. They put empty boxes for auction.
This review is as a seller. I unfortunately used this company to sell a couple dozen pieces of furniture, rugs and large oil paintings. I didn’t expect retail, but I also didn’t expect pieces worth thousands to literally sale for under $10 each. I paid my movers more to deliver the items than I received from the sale. I feel like I have been legally robbed. When I asked for an explanation I was discarded and told “I’m not an accountant”.Avoid at all costs.
Probably will not bid again as I won a $12.00 bid a month ago, but my daughter in law failed to pick it up by Wednesday. They declared our items as abandoned, absconded with them, did not refund, and did not apologize. Apparently they had changed their pickup policy three weeks earlier and she overlooked the notice among the many other changes. Previously they would ask for a storage fee but you would still get the items. She was there to pick it up on Thursday expecting to pay a storage charge but instead, she was verbally notified of the changes and they refused to let her have them. They not only lost business from both of our families, but also the higher bid amounts that come from having multiple competitive bidders for any one item. They have really made some significant changes and now obviously have much less friendly customer service now. What a shame...My older review: They have only online auctions now mainly on Saturdays, but sometimes on Fridays and Saturdays. Soft close to auctions means additional time (one minute?) added to last minute bids so as long as you watch your bids, you cant be outbid at the last second. For locals, its nice that you can pick up in person on the Sunday to Wednesday daytime hours and save on shipping costs. Some really good deals, but harder to find those after they went strictly online. Deals are still good. Mostly leftovers from estate auctions and closed out antique shops. Often nice surprises in their box lots.
These clowns conducted an onlie auctiin where I bought a huge leather sofa for $90. When I arrived to arrange for removal. I found that they had left it upstairs, two flights, very narrow stairs. Impossible to remove without professional covers of sofa and walls & railings. Not metioned in description online. Never been to any estate sale where items are inaccessible to removal. No way to remove sofa without damage to home. These people are inexperienced and incompetent, and dont like criticism, so theyve blocked me (oh boo hoo). Forget about their accommodating customers. Stay away.
Great job on helping me clear out my Moms estate at the auction house. Sold quickly on auction and paid fast!
Wonderful people! Great service!
Hardest working, most honest people in the business!!
Items have damage that is hidden. You better make sure you read the catalog listing because when the live auction begins items are not identified correctly. Once, I was told I was buying a new in box futon and when un-boxed at home it was an obviously used futon mattress. Should have learned the first time something like this happened, but I won’t go here again!
I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit I have made to Tyler Grace Auctions! This is an incredibly well run auction house that demonstrates the best customer service I have seen in a long time. From the minute you walk in the door, you will feel welcome. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the owners, Jason and Amanda, are just terrific. They offer amazing merchandise at affordable prices. The auctioneer is very good and keeps it light and fun. This is a great way to spend a Saturday evening!
Still bothers me to this day. April this year Tyler Grace took in a large collection of my coins. I told them not to lot them together and they did. Telling me that they would sell best like that. Thousands of dollars in Indian heads gone for $425 before they took their cut. I still think I was cheated and they have my coins for themselves. No response to my emails that they did they did. Coins that were never sold and asked about just gone.
I bought the most beautiful corner curio cabinet from Tyler and Grace Auctions, Amanda is always willing to help and work out something when your trying to get something, it’s a business built up by a family and run by family and they work very hard to keep it up and running, so you get the Good Family Quality Bussniess, I love the place, Love the people who work there, am going back, have gone back and gotten many other little things. They have online and estate sales aswell.
What a great group of people. Great Auction... Great food... Great Prices... And AWESOME items. Thank you Amanda for working so hard for all your customers. See you Saturday.
My husband and I enjoy attending the live auctions when we can. We always walk away with more than we expected. The items are top quality. Jason, Amanda and the entire staff are wonderful.
This place rocks. They came out to my storage shed and picked up all my treasures. They were so gracious and easy to work with, and within a week, I was shocked to receive a check for more than I had anticipated. This really is a wonderful service. I feel good that my familys heirlooms and keepsakes werent dumped off somewhere. They were matched with buyers who were looking for them, wanted them, and had use for them. And we made money in the process. Love it.
I have been a buyer and a seller, and this company is amazing! They make the auctions fun, and there is always a wide range of merchandise. They care about their customers, and have an excellent staff. We will always keep coming back!
Tyler Grace auctions is a very shady company to deal with. Watch your self if you are bidding with them.
I love this place. Ive redecorated my house with many items Ive bought at auction. Ive increased my online business and actually resold 5 items in November 2016. Going to the auctions also gets you to think quickly on your feet. Is this a good deal?? Could I resell this item?? Who is that artist?? It is fun but have to know how much your really want or need something. I also go to their estate sales on Sundays.
Amanda and Jason appear to be so friendly but really not so much. They hate our President, are intolerant to anyone who does not subscribe to their liberal views. They would be great in San Francisco. I will never support a business who harbors so much hate and intolerance to other viewpoints. UPDATE: People vote with their pocketbooks which is what I will be doing which means not ever attending your auctions of which I actually participate in quite a few. You do not know what was said by Trump as neither of us were there but like many liberals, you do not care as long as you can live in your fantasy land.
Ive been to a lot of auctions over the years and would have to say that Tyler Grace is the best ever. The perfect place to buy or sell. The quality of merchandise is exceptional. The staff is off the chain! You wont be disappointed!
I absolutely love this place and the owners, staff, and regular attendees! We never miss a Saturday night live auction! We were A to Z Estate Sales groupies and have totally gotten hooked on Tyler Grace Auctions! Great treasures and a great time!
I have been going to this auction house for many years. I bought a Tiffany set. I was at Tiffany and Company yesterday and I was informed that the jewelry I had purchased at the auction house was fake. So as far as I’m concerned they have misrepresented them selves and do not do research on the product they are selling. So I would watch out
Horrible management, very unorganized and unprofessional.
Awesome auction house. Got some really beautiful Items from this place and sold many too. Love these guys, would recommend them to everyone. Thanks Jason for the update.
Great Staff. Great all around company.
I have bid in person and by phone, and I always have a pleasant experience. The staff is super helpful and pleasant to be around. I check their website weekly and always bid when I can.Keep up the great work!
I personally will Not be recommending them. Nothing like sending some of your antiques and getting nothing for them. I could have made more should I have sold them myself. I went and reclaimed my pristine china hutch only to find one of the metal tabs yanked off...will need a welder to fix that problem and a door that when shut is no longer aligned. In the end, I left feeling fleeced. Definitely not on the side of the seller. Shame really to have my first experience with an Auction House leave me feeling used and cheap.
AUCTION AWESOMENESS AT TYLER GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My wife, Becki, and I attend Tyler Grace Auctions just about every single Saturday night and it is by far one of the most, if the not THE MOST, approachable, enjoyable, welcoming auctions and environments you will find! Every staff member has a smile on their face and are happy to answer any and all questions you have, whether they are specifically related to one particular element of one particular item, or just in general. As the Auctions owners, Jason and Amanda are the penultimate examples of an open and honest approach to business, as well as a kind and caring manner with their customers. They will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your evening, whether you be a big spender or budget conscious buyer. To them, each and every person is a valued customer and, quite often, a new friend. Moreover, having served in our countrys armed forces, protecting the rights most people take for granted each and every day, Jason and Amanda have a deep love and appreciation for this country and make sure they run their business with that in mind. They are honest, square-dealers for sure! As a mindful, thoughtful, open-hearted American, I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to spend nearly every Saturday night supporting and enjoying their business and its practices. They preach what they practice and say what they believe in a heartfelt, candid manner, without a trace of discrimination, bigotry, hate, etc. I am sure their many employees and even more happy, satisfied customers would agree! EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!! If that doesnt say consistency, the key to successful and sustained business with satisfied repeat customers like Becki and I, nothing does. But if auction arent your game, CHECK OUT A-Z ESTATE SALES! Their estate sales are also top notch and run by more of their great, hardworking, nice crew. In conclusion, Saturday nights can be a precious commodity, so for my wife and I to dedicate spending just about every one of them at Tyler Grace Auction, says everything you need to know in my opinion. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, if your schedule is not accommodating to coming to the auction in person, dont worry: TYLER GRACE IS! They even have online bidding and their auction house is open Monday-Sunday for inspections, questions, pick-ups, consignments, etc.Check them out! You will leave only to come back again, I bet!
Thanks to Amanda, Jason and the rest of the Tyler Grace Auction team for making my auction experience a TOTAL SUCCESS. You guys rock and the food was pretty good too.
This place is awesome if youre looking for something its probably here or probably will be the staff is super friendly the atmosphere is fantastic great way to spend a Saturday the staff is always willing to help whether its loading or unloading and they even have a pickup or delivery the only auction house I will go to
I was contacted by Brad via fb messenger about a rare military lantern we had posted for sale he assures me that he could sale it for more than we had it posted for and that they were picky about the things they chose to take in. So we drove over an hour and also took 95 vintage bottles, some rare. needless to say we received 67 dollars for all of it. When you go on line the bids start out at 20 dollars not one of our thing sold for more than 15 dollars, so needless to say this experience was not a good one we were not delt with honestly when we returned to picked up our check it mysteriously wasnt there and had to then be mailed to be mailed to us now I understand why!
Great Im sure, if you are buying, NOT selling. Im sure they are ideal for some things (they seem to specialize in old coins and art - although I had signed/numbered litho & beautifully custom framed pieces sell for next to nothing) but I wouldnt use them for selling antique/vintage furniture of any type. They wont accept a reserve on anything, and they tell you how soft the antique market is (so youre not surprised when they get nothing for it) there are places that still value antiques and their true worth... take the time to find them. The two men picking up my furniture didnt take great care in protecting or wrapping pieces. They were loading up an antique desk and dumped the drawers out, chipping one of them. Even movers know to remove drawers and at least wrap valuable pieces. But beware... their contract clearly states they are NOT responsible for damages to your pieces - EVER. I had a bad feeling the moment they walked in the door. They are about moving VOLUME, not helping you value/sell your pieces. You are solely at the mercy of their marketing (or lack thereof) to get quality buyers to come to their auctions.... and they are not held accountable to the seller for anything. They get the deal hunters not true investors. But They wont hold your items for a later auction with a different clientele or even MARKET your items for more than a few days at best - and as I mentioned they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage THEY cause to your items between your home and the auction. You cant get much more UNaccountable than that. Are you a BUYER? You can get some great deals Im sure. Are you a SELLER??? Be very careful - they make a good deal of money off moving volumes of things at NO starting bid or reserve (plus they charge the buyers a fee that youll never see) Remember that first and foremost. It should be a last resort. You might be better off taking the tax write-off as a donation.RESPONSE: Jason, I totally understand your need for rebuttal and justification, but I still stand by the gist of my review which is I do NOT think you all are on the side of the owners/consignors - otherwise youd be open to a reserve or a buy-back agreement, AND youd take responsibility for any damages caused by your transporting and storage. You are correct, I am most upset by the King Ranch chairs selling at a ridiculous price. But soiled? Those chairs sat in an Executive Conference Room unused for years. If they were well soiled and nicked (your words) YOUR OWN PHOTOS sure dont indicate that (attached), so why are you suddenly degrading them? To account for a ridiculous low selling price. Anyone that has given TGA a bad review has had their items dissed in rebuttal. Id have more respect for you all if youd admit even once in awhile that it was a slow auction night or the crowd just wasnt spending a lot... even if you couldnt justify the low sales prices. The tables you speak of were still aesthetically beautiful and functional; their leaves could be easily reinforced and stabilized. They are ANTIQUES after all, and honestly after witnessing the loading of all my pieces who knows how they arrived at your facility. As I said, Im sure buyers love you guys. THATS your business. I dont begrudge you that. I DO think you should provide consignors with that contract to read EARLY in the process -- that might help avoid misunderstandings. I find it interesting that it doesnt say anywhere what you will do in the interest of the consignor (the client signing) such as marketing and thoroughly researching value. Just an observation.
Great Place! They have great items and incredible staff! Buying or selling this is where I go!
This place has some great deals, We purchased a $4k armoire for $600 . We ve now been there 4 times and always walked away with some great stuff for more than reasonable pricing . The staff is Excellent and more than friendly and accomodating . They go out of their way to help in anyway possible. Justin, Jason and Amanda could give classes on how to be customer friendly. We were running late one day and called them up and let them know we were coming for a few particular items, in this case some Authentic John Lennon lithographs, they made sure we got there before bidding started on those items. You can also do online or phone bids. As far as Auction houses or anything else for that matter, These company and its staff are second to none.
Great deals and lots of fun. Wonderful staff............especially Amanda!
I used to love this place. Ill never buy from them again.
Horrible place.
Nice professional staff.
I want to like this place but I do not understand why my internet bids are not accepted. Why didnt I get an email stating this. Something isnt right about this. I had three items I bid on.
