I absolutly love it at island grove as does my 8yr old daughter. I wish the people who vandalize the kids park stuff would stop as its becoming unsafe but thats not parks fault. Hopefully next season they fix those issues and people dont damage again. If everyone who went there showed the place equal respect and didnt litter it would honestly be a amazing place due to that its just great as why gave 4 stars. Also its a peaceful place when u want to get away from everything.

Cute little park. Impressively clean. Plenty of friendly people. I must have come during dog walking time, because there were dozens of them. Most were leashed, but not all. This made my little girl anxious at times and took away from our leisurely winter stroll. Still, we intend to return soon to see what changes spring has brought.

Great place to relax, walk or go fishing. My boyfriend and I went here to see the fireworks last year and stood on the bridge, it was the best fireworks ever!!!!

Awesome place to swim in a man maid pond. Lay out in the sun on the grass. Food available at the food stand with pink benches to sit and eat. Bridge to walk and trails. Love this place!

Wide open most people wear masks but area is large enough to properly distance as needed. Lovely views of water foot bridge and historical facts. A must visit if u are close worth the drive even.

Nice clean park, people need to keep their dogs leashed.

Lovely place to walk with the family and to enjoy a peaceful and calm surrounding. You can even do some fishing if you are so inclined.

We visited a lot this summer and even with needing to make a reservation, it was still very easy to go over. Clean, beautiful and cooler than across the bridge.

A nice quaint quiet place for families to enjoy the great outdoors and weather.

Beautiful relaxing place in the middle of town. The lifeguards on duty do a good job on keeping a close watch. Swimming lessons for kids in small groups, one on one attention given to each kid. Snack shack and restroom available when they are open. Great place in all.

Beauty of the location

My wife & I take my dog there every Friday. We enjoy the park, my dog loves the place, the lake & inside the park swimming pool seasonally, dogs are excluded during the summer season for the for kids to enjoy the pool. Theres something for everybody to like, ice skating, ice fishing & hockey whenever its cold enough for the lake to ice over! And in the summer theres the lake & the pool, hiking, & of course my dog. In fact alld dogs appear to love the the Grove! Easily 4 - 5 stars....etc.

People must be keeping the fish not any bites for a very long time. Looks so much better now its been cleaned up and growth trimmed. It is a small park no room for any private time to relax but if you want people hovering around you its a Great place to go.

Really cool sight to see in the day time but even better when you visit at 2 in the morning and get to see all the stars in the sky and the bridge looks beautiful standing on it

The playground is small, but the beach/ lake area is awesome in the summer. You can swim. There are picnic tables to sit.

Island Grove is a nice place to visit. Plenty of trails to walk, ride bikes, good exercise. It has a lot of history to it. There is a swimming area available. Just a nice place to go

I have been out of abington for 8 years now and when I visit here I always take a stroll through the park. It has vastly improved in cleanliness and facilities since Ive been there last.

Fishong is a hit or mkss but i must give 5 stars to this place because I caught my biggest bass ever on this pond. Also when the pond freezes over in the winter too beautiful

Nice park! Charging 8 dollars to use a pond that they call a pool is ridiculous. It not a pool it is in a town forest. You cant send cops in there after 5 to kick people out because the pool is closed.

Its 85 degrees and sunny and the pool area is closed. Looks like a nice family spot though. August 26th is a bit early to close it up on a Sunday.

Beautiful wooded area with a play structure. You can fish off the bridge and theres a swi.ming hole open during specific times of the year. Saw a bit of garbage. Please leave the place nicer than when you arrived.

Great place to come fish or during the summers come have a swim in the chlorinated pond on the edge of the lake. No matter the season The Grove is a great place for a stroll. There are always plenty of ducks and geese. Be sure to check out the Abington Veterans Mermorial while youre there.

Island Grove is a beautiful treasure in Abington. Well maintained, easy to walk. Tons of work going into renovating the facilities.
