This organization is awful. We couldnt get my son signed up late, but they let a girl in my daughters division join the week after games. The league will deny this, but the coach was honest with us. They try to do favors for certain people.Furthermore, the officiating and the fields are equally as bad. They are losing way to many people to travel soccer and are in a position that isnt favorable for them. If the city ever provided and maintained their own fields, these guys would be done for. So many people are tired of this league. Their lack of knowledge in the game (shows through their inconsistent refereeing) is overwhelming. The refs are TERRIBLE!!They will write their own positive reviews I am sure, just to offset any negative review. But trust me as I am a non-biased review. Having played here myself for ASC and through college, I know soccer and how to develop players. With this awful organization, you are better off at the YMCA.
Very disorganized and poorly run association. They dont answer or return phone calls, but you might can catch them on FB Messenger if youre lucky. Try to have all your questions in one post because they take hours on replying back. Their fields are poorly maintenanced and their refs could have better management. We came from East Texas where my son loves soccer, but now doesnt want to play.
Love this for my girls! They are in amazing teams and growing into fearless strong young ladies! Glad this is available to Abilene! Praying for an indoor complex in the future!
Big country soccer is very disorganized! My son is only 11 and was placed on a U 13 yr old age group. My son along with many others are not even 12 yrs old yet! Their first game was against 13 and14 yr olds. The coach said thats the only age group the boys will play against because they have no other teams to play against. We are half way through the season and dont have a schedule of when our games are. I have no problem with the coach, she has done what she can and this is not her fault. For our boys this is unfair and the worst experience with Big Country.
Unorganized, and unfair. Played numerous years and fully expected to play our last season as a team before middle school. We were forced to split up due to “not enough players” while they allowed another new team to start that needed more players. No answers could be given and it took months to get a response. Only received one because I emailed again!
Extremely disorganized... refs show up 30 minutes late to games... refs have no regard for the kids safety by calling a fair game and clear penalties. Only 1 other team in the division so have to play high school freshmen against 6th graders. Organization is a complete joke and highly disappointing.
