This Recreation Center has been around Abilene for a long time it could actually use a lot of updating theres a lot of safety measures I see with the building. Abilene needs to put their money for word and fix this place up a bit. Its good that its there for the kids around the area people still use it for barbecuing and days out in the sunshine.

Great place for party or get together

It is great for kids. I give it 5 for that but a 3 because it only has 1 grill

I met up with some Senior for lunch at Cobb park recreation center. They were serving lunch for both kids and Seniors. I was glad to see friendly staff meeting the needs of kids and Seniors at this Center.

Attending a Birthday party. Building has been updated new floors and air conditioner kept building cool.

Great place might need some technical upgrades

Occasionally I will take an old friend of mine from church up here to get his lunch. The facility is very clean. The staff that operate this location are very friendly and courteous to the elderly that come here. Anne especially she does an excellent job of running the faculty. They will even check your blood pressure if you want on Thursdays. All in all its a great location. God bless you guys!! #Tom

Great little place.

Cobb park is a great place to take the family with a good, safe playground and several buildings to which you can rent for activities such as birthdays, family reunions, or whatever your into. There is a multi tennis court and across from there is a recreation center perfect for more mature people offering a variety of arts and crafts and activities. The newly constructed water park is soon to open and do not forget about the skate park if your into mobility. Cobb park also has a moderate stage with sound Shields for rent if you wish to host an outside event so bring the whole family including your dog.

Could use some updates but overall a great place

We rented this place out for a birthday party and they arrived 30mins late. Something about they had a mix up in the schedule. Very unprofessional and inconvenient for the people that paid money to rent out the building and have their party pushed back because of a mix up on the schedule.

Good food for seniors

A really cool place to be able to rent for a family or Union or just for fun

Love it! They had a gym for the kids to play in and all the conveniences of a kitchen for cooking & cleaning.
