What a true treasure. Although I visited family in Abbeville when I was younger, I haven’t been here in 20+ years. Driving up to Magdalen Square was jaw dropping. The church is so majestic. The grounds and oaks are beautiful. Walking up the steps to the church makes the entrance very grand. Upon entering you are greeted by the beauty of the Catholic Church and can sense the countless parishioners that have come to praise the Lord since 1911. You can feel the history of this church parish.

We left Abbeville Louisiana never coming back so everyone can be happy I know when I was there no one wanted to talk to us so we gone small town they only like there Abbeville people we are different culture so we where discarment against never coming back to Abbeville I hope hurricanes and tornadoes wipe out that town

Went for midnight mass on Christmas Eve. Beautiful music from the choir. Very Clean enviroment

This church is one of the most beautiful churses in Louisiana and has a history dating back to the foundiing of Abbeville. The church and its mission continue forth today. Always clean and has a beautiful alter. Hudge stained glass windows must see to believe.

My father took me to see this beautiful church when i was a young girl in 1962. he was raised in the area and apparently attended this church. he was most proud to show us the beautiful stations of the cross. my sisters and i had only seen them as pictures before. i would love to see photos of them now until i can visit again.

This church is extremely politically forward, and have even ostracized and excommunicated a young girl who gave her time and effort to the church for free, only because she posted that she is pro-gay marriage on Facebook. They have a very large and extravagant church, but its wasted on hypocrites.
