Always enjoy our camping trips to this wonderful state park. Relatively quiet and fun to be surprised by an occasional raccoon or wild pigs! You may even get to hear and/or see a black bear. The campgrounds are kept clean and they usually try to have holiday activities going on.

Here for a couple nights in our camper. So far so good, spacious site, clean restrooms. Generally quite and peaceful, except for the occasional four wheeler. Imagine there are more on the weekends. There shows a strong wifi signal, but it really is next to useless, which is fine with me. With ATT there is a real strong signal and it works great. Overall a great experience here and we would probably return and recommend.

It was super, duper fun. It was my first time there. The only reason it wasnt a five star was because a down graded Luke Combs came and yelled at us even though there was no sign telling us not to ride our bikes down the ramp.

We booked this park on our trip to the Southwest. What a find! large level campsites with electric and water, clean warm shower and restroom facilities and free laundry. The cabins looked to be modern and well appointed. Free WIFI throughout the campground and two bars of Verizon service. I expect the mosquitos could be bad in the warmer seasons, January no problems.

This is a great park for everyone in the family. From the splash pad to the nature trails and the canoeing on the pond. Its a great place to visit for the day or stay the weekend camping or staying in one of the cabins. It might have been my first time to the park today but we will defiantly go back, it was very nice.

It is a very fun, nice, and safe place especially for the kids. I like that is wide open, close to the parking lot and the restrooms what are very well taken care of. In additional to the picnic area and start of the updated and upgraded walking natural trails, that are right there. Of course, please be aware of the alligators and the spiders especially in the late summer.

Great place to go camping...Tents and RVs alike. Or of your here for just the day...there are plenty of private places to fish as well as places were people congregate for picnics. You can be alone with your party or amongst other picnickers depending on your preference. You can find a place to lay a blanket and read a book... The splash pad is a water wonder world for the little ones and there are safe and short trails close by for the slightly older ones who cant sit still. Wildlife is abundant for those who like to animal watch. Something for everyone to be sure! Bring your bug spray!!! P.S. Cell phone signal is strong so no need to worry about missing any calls!!

Absolutely love going to the splash pad with my children & niece! The youngest two are at 19 months and 21 months & they love it! It’s one of the best splash pads around! It’s huge ! They also have plenty of Picnic tables in the shade and out of the shade. They have a building with women and men’s restrooms & changing area. They keep it clean as well. **Right outside of the building facing the splash pad near the corner where you would walk to your car there is a hose! About to explain why I’m mentioning a hose because children do have accidents.********This past time we went which was yesterday. A child had a Bm and didn’t have a swim diaper on NOT only that but the grandmother brought her to the lady’s restroom & cleaned her off in the sink AFTER asking me if there was a shower or hose to clean her off with. I told her exactly where the hose was right outside the restrooms, and she STILL washed her off in the sink!******We left right after this due to the contamination in the restroom, and in the splash pad! I informed the workers when we left. They apologized, and was very thankful that I informed them that way they could get to it right way. They also mentioned this isn’t the first time something like this is happened which is very disgusting, and horrible that people would do this! Would you want me to rise my child off in your sink or poop in your pool and not say a word? I personally think it should be a rule that if your child is not fully potty trained that they should have to wear a swim diaper. Every parent should know this!*Bring EXTRA swim diapers accidents happen all the time ! I had to stop on my way to the splash pad yesterday, and pick up a brand new pack of swim diapers because I ran out! I’m not going without swim diapers to any splash pad, pool or anything that has water with a baby or toddler but that’s just me and I would hope every parent would do the same. It would be a shame for them to close this nice splash pad because of people doing this! Let’s keep it clean, nice, & sanitary !

No speeding golf carts, no loud music, no riding carts after 8pm. Large splash pad for kids, covered pavilion to sit and watch the kids(bring a lawn chair) Picnic tables in area. Nice hiking trails. We stayed here this past week with our two labs and we had a great time! What a wonderful, clean, friendly, well kept park! Would highly recommend to anyone. The bath house was clean and well kept! My only suggestion for something better would be more water pressure in the womens shower, but that is so minor. We cant wait to go back and will definitely go when they have the dutch oven cooking on the second Saturday of the month. My husband and I love to tent camp so that we go make it easy to go where we want to go and they have tent pads on many of the sites and they have the fire pits, and lantern poles. They even spray for mosquitoes, but bring your own bug spray, because lets face it, it is in the woods and it is wet, so there are a lot of them. But overall we love this park!!
